I really love the coloration variants on these! I'd have adored them as a kid especially with those fuzzy capes? Carefully making sure those things didn't get lost would've been an obsession haha. Also see through figures are just so neat to me even now.

Fun fact, this line started of as Lords of Power at first, and Oskuro was blue skinned and had a beard - kinda like Keldor - and Barbaro had a sword and was blonde, sooo.... yeah they were too MOTU style. To the effect that Mattel sent them a cease and desist, so they redesigned everyone. Ironically, Panthera became even more like an anthro female Panthor in the second turn!

They're pretty cool looking, Pantera woulda been #1 on my Xmas list as a kid because Cat Lady that woulda fit in with my other dudes. Maybe they can make some Glow in the Dark figures in a future wave. Depending on price, I might be snagging a few of these. Pretty sure I haven't bought a toy since the Hasblo Trypticon a few years ago. Maybe they could add some flocked figs to the lineup too. Unfortunately, dad enjoyed melting my 80's toys because they weren't sports. So, it's awesome to see these dudes but better.

There's so much going on with this line that you can tell Formo went above and beyond researching the Swords & Sorcery genre to nail it. It's just a shame these aren't 16 points of articulation like MOTU Origins though.

Very _Chinese_ looking designs for ONI-tor and RAI-tor. Their names seem to be based on "oni", a type of Japanese demon, and either Raijin, the Shinto thunder & lightning god (also called _Raiden),_ or Raiju, his beast companion (trees struck by lightning are said to have been scratched by his claws, his roar sounds like thunder, and... he has a habit of sleeping inside human navels? Also, I'm 99% sure the Pokémon Raichu was derived from him, being Lightning Squeak instead of Lightning Beast).
