Phenobarbital knocked her out

Elin is back in hospital with medication resistant cluster seizures. In the end we tried phenobarbital, which knocked her out for 38 hours! But it got the seizures under control.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

Phew so pleased they got everything under control. Stress levels through the roof so mama needs down time to recoup. Just been catching up on all your vlogs. Had a stressful few months, you know how it is lol, but I am back in the world. x

And as long as the medication is finally working I don't think it really matters how long she asleep for, I no Elin needs food but all the seizures,vomiting and all off heavy duty medicines she will be very very sleepy I'm just very glad that the port worked and it really sounds like u had a fantastic DR'S I am the lady who speaks 2 u on Instagram and Facebook plus very similar needs to Eiin Lvya all so much xx 😘😘

Hi Tova. I just want to let you know that we’re praying for you and Allen. Please give her a hug for us and some loving and cuddle for us I think she’s really special and sweet and I love her smile. You’re a good mommy staying with her like that is good because she knows you’re there I have seizures too. I’ve had them since I was two. I’ve had clusters myself and Mom has had to stay in the hospital with me to lots of times I will never forget Louie one time it was my birthday and I was in ICU. So I’m here for you my friend and I’m always gonna be here for you you got a friend for life or should I say a sister for life. Love you guys and praying for you
