I’ve watched over 20 anime’s after watching darling in the FranXX, some similar to it and some not. But no other anime has never filled he void, I always think about the color pink (because of u know who) and I always remember the soundtrack if darling of the FranXX. I’ll always think about the characters in the show and everything about it. In conclusion....none of these will fill the void in me until a season 2 or an ova or a movie. Idc if it’s 10 minutes long, as long as I can see hiro and zero two in the city together hanging out I’ll be happy

I see that as the saving grace of what is possibly one of the most underdeveloped plot twists in anime history (Im talking about the aliens plot twist), Because of the strong relationship between Hiro and Zero Two, the emotional scenes between those two amid the twist still hit, but not as hard as intended unfortunately. If their bond wasn’t strong enough for me to care about the characters, This would have probably been one of the worst plot twists in anime

I would feel happy with just one more episode with hiro and zero two keeping there promise and going back to the gang or hiro and zero two’s next life or something idfk. I knew Ichigo was going to have a redemption episode, but I didn't expect what happened. After finishing the show, looking back, she wasn't completely wrong, just ignorant of the truth. Also, she was a teen going through puberty, with no education of what was happening, no way of understanding her feelings. I feel like as casual anime watcher I was able to enjoy it a lot more than others that “live” for anime/critique/review them, I loved it all the way through, regardless of plot changes and the ending broke my heart but in a good way, the best anime I’ve watched so far, also Zero Two best girl ever

Evangelion is pretty much required viewing for anyone who wants to talk about anime online, because it will be brought up no matter what anime community you are part of, and it is just inescapably influential. Even without it on the thumbnail, I knew it would be on here, if for nothing else because FranXX kind of owes its existence to the show (along with countless other shows, mind you). I would also recommend Eureka Seven to FranXX fans, specifically for being an equally as colorful mecha that has a strong emphasis on romance.

Got to watch darling in the franxx in the first place because of the connection that it shares with ttgl. Have had a core drill tattoo'ed in my arm for some years now as a reminder that "we evolve beyond the person we were a minute ago". Ttgl can sometimes be difficult for some to like, but for me is simple a piece of art, with little little hints full of meaning about some living things, such as loss and acceptance. It's a wonderful show, I love it

Great video but you just missed a point.. Are we all gonna ignore that the point of that anime was *a girl and a boy falling in love with each other* during some sorta war against the klaxosaurs? I mean yeah everything matters, etc. But, if you really notice all the stuff that happened with the VRIM was to *make the love scene even stronger* as he went to the space to save her! Maybe they did not handle the space thing as best as they could but the anime is not mainly based on the "war" thing. I hate people judging an anime and even call it bad ,as sooo many do, when they have missed the biggest point of the anime itself.

I mean Eureka Seven is a very viable option too. Highy recommend it, starts off a tad bit more Shounen and less drama, in comparison to Darling in the FranXX, but boi, you in for a fun ride with that show!

Did anyone else not like the ending of darling in the franxx? Like why do they die in the anime, they shouldve definitely survived and had a life after that, and we would see zero two and hiro have a baby. Yet the anime ending is sad, and idk how it rlly works to have them die when they were in a huge machine that kept them alive for 2 years without water or food, and little to no sleep. That’s why we need season 2.

some people want darling in the franxx season 2, while others think that if this anime continues even more, it’s good story itself will be ruined. IMO i was satisfied with the ending except for ‘t-t-their’ deaths and that sad reincarnation cut off, however that doesn’t mean i don’t want a season 2 or more of this anime. i started watching this anime after i finished bunny girl senpai/movie so i was already trying to fill the void after finishing bunny girl with darling in the franXX (but that didn’t work at all, now i need to find another anime to fill THIS current empty void in me 😭.
