Yeah, historically there were always skills that appeared only on seasonal or legendary/mythical units. Seal SPD 4 is only on L! Shez and Yuri. Seal Atk 4 is only on L! Robin. That is why attuned and rearmed heroes are so valuable since they rerun more often and have at least 3 free spark options.

Oh Nice Desert builds/units i think just in my opinion Duo Marisa giving a 4x or 4 times support to your units seems so good for counterattack not only that Duo Marisa is so good which she has a powerful attack as well but she can't defend against powerful AOE Nukes like Emblem Sigurd and plus i was finishing my Summoner Duels S and it went solid, sorry for the off topic but Duo Marisa is now a head of the Gerik mercenaries. O.o

I don't think this is intentional, but after the trailer I had a faint memory of Byleth's Creator Sword's Unleashed Effect in 3 Hopes was a brave effect and sure enough it was. It would be cool to see if this gimmick carries over to other alts as many of them have supportive perks.

That's actually not a bad idea. Chain attacks and support attacks aren't represented well in IS, so it makes sense for small chip attacks to be the counter for true DR.

Ike is definitely the star of this banner imo, the dude is super stacked, and, as usual, N!Noire is still eating good thanks to Laguz Loyalty and Jehanna Dagger.

He is really good but in the same Tier as Timerra and Caeda imo. Marisa is the star because allowing omnitanks like Ike to hit twice on enemy phase is insane. This adds longevity to them as well, because usually, if the omnitank gets doubled, it game over for them, but hitting twice means being able to kill a lot of the unit that outspeed them.

Bro they got me. The hype of powercreep got me. I summoned for lots a Laguz Friend copies and they introduced Laguz Loyalty for fast units. I exclusively inherited Laguz Friend to fast units💀. At least it was on Timerra and she's my fav Engage character so it's not that much of a loss

I would say Marisa is still better. Her giving a brave support is much better than an Omni tank who will be outclassed in a few months. Brave let's you get through Shield Fighter Armors so she is much more valuable both right now and long term.

How well do we think Ike is gonna hold up and be worthwhile for someone who's planning to invest in Timerra long term? I only got one of him and am not sure if I want to send him to the glue factory or not since I might not use him all that much.

He's not explicitly better than her due to the fact that both of them are heavily reliant on their specials, and they're effectively doing the same job. The only thing he has on her is the Null C effect, but he still doesn't compare damage-wise or even tank-wise especially when damage is sorely missed against a lot of these true DR stacking tanks. You're much better off with Timerra simply because she's a great fodder bank and she has one of the better attuned skills, where as Ike is bound to be power crept and _isn't_ a fodder bank.

I'm kinda surprised and disappointed you didn't cover the Doubler Sword with Laguz Loyalty. IMO, it's the best inheritable sword for an omnitank rn. Combine it with D Bonus Doubler, Odd Spd Wave 4, and Time Pulse Echo and you get a very competent omnitank. This can be further supported with Eikthyrnir (we have a free one now!) in order to get at least +22 to Atk/Spd/Def from just your weapon and A Slot (this is assuming that foe has Lull effect; 4 from Sword base, 9 from BD effect, another 9 from D Bonus).

I literally run this, but I have to say it works better on Laguz Friend. When you have such huge stacks of stats, the dmg reduction difference between def and spd becomes less of a note. Meanwhile, the true dmg soars, and is simply much better than Loyalty’s flat 7.

Considering how there's a ton of units nowadays that either ignore all those buffs, turn them off, reverse them, or just steal them for themselves. I mean, it's kinda dangerous to be just stacking buffs upon buffs.

Hello. Thanks for the video as always PM1. This is the first time I make a question. I have reached the spark and only got Malice. I wanted Ike for the fodder, but I lack Melee Infantry Asset (Attuned/ Rearmed) heroes to duplicate his skills. Marisa seems like a really nice support, but I already have both B!Catria and W!Cordelia. Should I spark Ike or Marisa?

I'd say Marisa based on that info. Her support is timeless, unlike Ike's fodder which will eventually be outclassed and even at present, I don't think it's extraordinary. Even now, we have renaissance of Bride Catria due to Emblem Lyn ring so Marisa will age better.

#question out of all Fire Emblem games, which chapter/map would you say is your favorite from a story perspective? For me, I’d have to say Crimson Flower chapter 17 because of the Edelgard and Dimitri conversation, they fighting in the rain feels very memorable, and Indomitable Will playing there felt most fitting.

IMO we already have good amount of extra action units/Lv2 Safety Fence and she needs the special damage to kill bulky armors & tanks. Galeforce does not help with the damage output.

I managed to get 2 copies of Tethys so far. OG Tethys was my 2nd +10, and I used her for so long for her debuff support with Temari, so she has a soft spot for me. I would like to build her up, but everything IS does with premium dancers disuades me from doing that especially when melee dancers are so much stronger and I have 3 highly built ones, and Attuned Azura. Her weapon is super good, even on old Tethys which is nice, so I'll probably fodder my copies unless I get way more. It's so weird to get an inheritable weapon, on a 4* of all units, that rivals the arcane dagger that literally just came out. On top of that we just got NY Tana that borderline powercreeps Bride Lapis, and Bride Lapis is still quite a strong unit due to Shared Spoils and the warp support. Someone at IS is doing something right.

prime is cringe but i unironically ran this new Speedy Ike with AS Prime this last season specifically against Tree Man. Lets him retain enough speed to function while still having DC all while being within 3 for his weapon + avoiding assign decoy shenanigans. I love him!

The problem is : not many dagger units are good nowadays. Also, the builds are so same-y that i find it less incentive to build a new unit... because they'll just be built the same as the old unit i built previous but just with higher visible numbers. It's amusing that "unit diversity" in this game is effectively extinct because they're all built the same way their niches cover and only gimmick make them stand out (if barely).

The new Ike desperately needs a different A slot, as much fun as I have with bonus doubler stacking it isn't a viable strategy in a meta where nearly every unit that even qualifies as passible disables blue buffs. Like relying on those blue buffs has lead to my felix with no investment and 2 support bots beating a +10 one I found in my runs of arena. And if you're losing to base kit felix with color advantage... yeah, that's a really bad look. Amazing B and C skills on a, admittedly, just okay unit that needs more support than you'd expect. Still an infinitely better release than emblem Lyn, though I'm just surprised the entire feh community isn't trembling in their boots at the sight of a new lord that's been shown. I mean. There was no real reason to panic or even consider emblem Lyn a threat if your team was already good with a viable far save, at least with this Ike, there's a few near saves that just outright fail to do anything because he blows their back out. Emblem Lyn fails to kill me *Male Grima* with no defensive support, she just doesn't have a placement in a world where shield fighter exists, and people are STILL overrating her release, calling her the bane of feh. It's comical asf. Attacking from 6 spaces in a meta where the best unit moves 2 spaces, warps another 4, attacks, likely actually KILLS a unit since near saves are far less common than far saves due to less being released, then does it AGAIN because why not? Yeah man, those 6 spaces mean a LOT! (They don't, and they never will.)
