Even though it sucks they won't be in the regular summoning pool, it's still nice we got a rearmed heroes for older gen units to inherit perfs, and this video really helps clear things up. Now to wait for a lance and a dagger rearm perf for my Effie and Saizo.

I believe some people was already starting to feel FEH was waning. Arcane heroes is a great addition to the overall game and gives the opportunity to build people's old loved units. Definitely this type of changes maintain the game interesting.

Honestly one of my insane thoughts for arcane was on Nemesis with atk and res boons with arcane refined for defense with distant stance, atk/def bulwark, and canto control and then def/res solo for a lack of a seal option honestly with bonfire as the special. The thought proccess being that you cannot escape from him. If you fail to kill him you're stuck.

So I'm willing to bet Arcane Weapons are just gonna be generically good for each of the Weapon Types as they release since Lif's sword is pretty good for all types of sword units. Then maybe down the line, they'll become more specialised, ie. Sword that is best suited for Fast Swords, etc.

Yeah I believe specialization is going to take some time, but when it happens arcane inheritance will become even better.

Very important deciding the best inheritors for an Arcane weapon: they don’t score as high as an original Prf weapon, and you can’t use the inheritor’s established Prf skills. So basically they are not the clear choice for arena, and seem best for units who could use the extra power but more often PVE than all else. I do have some ideas for who’d I’d like to give an Arcane weapon first, but I’m eagerly waiting for your recommendations first PM1 so I’ll make without a doubt the perfect choice! 🤩

The skill duplication is soooooo good. I still have to pull multiple of one rare skill (like smoke 4 or viral astra) but now, I can just feed it to lif and whenever he comes around on a legendary banner or gets voted in AHR, that’s a few more copies of smoke 4 or viral astra or whatever else super excited to get another copy of Mareeta and fallen Lillith for this

The problem is I have a lot of units that seems to want the weapon. lmao OTL Will wait on your other video and think about it some more. And ngl, this feature has helped revitalized some interest in the game, so I'm really happy for the feature. Of course, I am cautiously optimistic since it's still new and we don't know how it'll be handled in the long run. Still for now, it's a very exciting feature.

This is such a good change. Getting re-refines for all the bad/old refines was always a popular thought in the community, but seemed hard to implement. Arcane weapons really solve the larger portion of this issue while remaining as a very balanced feature.

I kinda regret trying to +10 my B Lysithea bc now I don’t have orbs for this banner, especially since I still need 1 more copy to finish my +10 and Monica has Spd/Res Tempo which is perfect for B Lysithea. And while I was upset about not getting Rearmed Lif bc lack of orbs. I realized I mostly use my Legendary Marth whos +10 anyway. So I at least know what to expect now

Rearmed bow and dagger units are going to be such high value. Not only can you multiply deadeye or lethality, but you can also inherit the weapon onto units of all colors... Wish they did that for tomes, but it's too late now.

The skill duplication is honestly the most striking feature of rearmed heroes to me personally. This makes the most strategical move to summon rearmed heroes when you actually intend to have them as merge projects so you can make the most optmal usage of the premium fodder you give to them. I sparked Líf because I just love him as a character (sometimes he's a bit too edgy, but Book III has the best story to me so far and I also can relate to his grief at the loss of so many loved ones), but also because he's actually a good unit. But I'll be looking forward for a future lance rearmed hero so that my glorious Masquerade Eldigan can have a PRF weapon. I really hope Thrasír and Eir also get rearmed alts or at least ascended ones.

I’ve got a copy of Lif, and I’m likely going to give it to Alfonse to make him much easier to use as a bonus unit. However, I’m a tad unsure if it’s worth due to slightly reducing his max scoring potential (if I gave him a 300sp B skill). I’m also a bit unsure on what extra fodder to give to Lif to make the arcane inheritance extra valuable in the long run. I’ll have to mull this over for sure, but at least this video has given me better insight into how the arcane inheritance works.

already at it. I got two Lifs and fed one of them Male Byleth and Fallen Gustav now I got Ruptured Sky, DC, A/D Near Trace, and Atk Smoke 4 ready to be passed down. I used one inherit to give Legendary Sigurd Trace and Smoke.

#9 I think is the reason that the skill duplication is intended. Of course they want this. That will just make you want to dump more orbs on those units' banners. Also, when I paused the inheritance screen during the FEH channel, it did say there are exceptions to the no exclusive skills rule. I heard that basic Dance skills are allowed, but I haven't confirmed this (no way am I going to test this on Olivia; I rarely use her nowadays).

I am a little bit confused with the skill duplication part...shouldn't it work both ways no matter if you merge the used one into the unused one or the unused one into the used one, als long as the used one had the inherited skills? Because afterwards the Arcane inheritance should be usable again in both ways. :o If it was meant like that, then... I am sorry haha. ^^

8:45 Had me in TEARS at 3am with that "you have better chances seeing an alien instead of arcanes being formas with same forma weapon types" like alright i'll go find chewbacca on the street somewhere because i'd really like these units to be more accessible. But lets say they do by some miracle add these units to forma lineups. Can that even work for any inheritance once you get an arcane forma? It seems like the system works in a way that still counts the arcane hero as being "foddered" and for formas they are locked from being able to even get past that point, so kind of taking half the point of the hero away then and there. Would they have to change formas and make inheritance work for these? I almost feel like at that point it isnt worth it and saving for a summon is better. I dunno, either way all i know is i was not expecting to hear that alien joke today and it was great

If I got this right. 1. Feed premium skills to rearm hero. 2. Feed rearm hero to older unit to inherit weapon + the premium skills 3. Merge used rearm hero to unused rearm hero so premium skills carry over. 4. Rinse and repeat until your rearm hero is merged up.
