Despite what people say about Book 7, you gotta admit the cutscenes are gorgeous and well animated. My favorite part about Book 7 was when Askr showed up and everyone began to moove and exercise. Such a climactic turn of events.

@@Julv_ various reasons - mostly stemming from goofy and weirdly paced story and the character designs felt too boob-y and fanservice-y for a lot of people. I think it had some pretty good moments but FEH's story structure struggles to support something as intricate as time loops/time travel.

@@maria.456 People don't like fanservice now? I saw Twitter and Reddit go wild for when that big chested muscular book 8 OC was revealed. But they draw the line at big chested women?

@@Julv_ big chested man isn't half as common as big chested woman let's be real here 🙏 I think it's also partially got to do with Yoshiku's art style - all his women are just Like That

@@maria.456 for me it didn't feel fan service-y.. then again i am a big chested woman born in a family of other big chested women.. basically what i am trying to say is for me wasn't really that bad since throughout fire emblem there were females that had outfits that were far worse than what book 7 gave us. Examples being the dancers, the awakening and fates dark mages outfits, the maids aren't that bad but the skirt is a bit more on the nose of a ballet skirt compared to actual forms of maid outfits out on the internet, and there is the fact of the bare legs of all of the female cavalry and pegasus fliers.. basically book 7 of feh is just about at average compared to what they were able to do on fates. They almost had petting your soldiers on fates but that got pulled cuz people did not like that.. still sad with the no outfit changes like they showed while fates game was getting developed but i am happy they chose to bring it to fire emblem engage.

I have to admit, these are probably the best animated cutscenes in imo, but I still say Book 6 had the best story so far. And this may sound bias, but my favorite is Moove With Askr, lol.

I honestly forgot you didn't upload this a while back when Book 8 became a thing, and although I wasn't a fan of the story, I still enjoyed the cutscenes for it's vibrant colors and animation.

Looking at this reminds me again how wild/hype it was for Gullveig to win CYL. Like after Veronica I was on the thought of no other OCs wasn't going to win CYL again. Let alone get 1st place in their respective division

@@catnapgaming7320 That really annoyed me so much, we had a lot of good units, but because of the memes it all went into ruin, especially for W!Edelgard, who imo was one of the better options, but people complained because of the "Edelgard must lost" meme, followed by the same lame excuse of "it would be annoying if everyone got a free (insert unit here)." And it also doesn't help that WT!Claude, of all the units, somehow won the first round, a unit nobody asked to be on there. The only unit I found worth getting was W!Dimitri since he's still a pretty good axe cav unit, but even then it wasn't worth summoning after seeing who else was on the banner. It just shows that contests aren't taken seriously and that people just do it for the lols.

To bad IS doesn't make too much character development in heroes. I really liked Heidr and I wanted to know more than just "I admire my sister" and also how she got the golden seer illness. They have the opportunity but don't use it. Even though I love the music of book 7

Ill be honest this is probably the only book i paid attention to on a whim but I really enjoyed it, and i get that its pretty fanservice with the characters, but that never got me to truly love a character, all I can say is Gullveig is probably my favorite character now (I plan on paying attention to other stories some other time cause this def proved how good the game's story can get)

Might be a hot take but I thought Book 7 was great (by FEH story standards) to be honest - Gullveig was a really good sympathetic antagonist, the concept of the cycle as a whole was cool and it raised some interesting moral questions, particularly regarding Kvasir. And of course the music was top tier! Up there with Book 3 imo

I loved theorizing about Book VII between chapters (like I did with Book III and IV). They're all my favourites for now! Still a rare Gullveig enjoyer. x') I miss doing all that with Book VIII, but maybe the second part will hype me more.

Agreed it was all over the place the time travel thing was cool but they ruined it tbh. And the story writing was so bad like literally worst book writing compared to the other ones. It was honestly very tame and not that exciting even for me the designs we're very meh-

My favourite moment of this book is the ending movie where Seidr thanos snapped her future self. ＼⁠(* 0 *＼⁠) Gullveig really got the taste of her own medicine by her present self lol- Anyways my least favourite book story wise and design wise tbh like the writing was genuinely pretty bad and the concept of time travel was good but they ruined it.
