Fun fact: Azeem is from Faisalabad (a city in Pak) and his teacher (Mohsin) was once ttg1 champ in pak and mained Lee and Kazuya. That guy is still considered the best Lee and Arslan rated his Lee as good as GM. No wonder that he has also got a lee. Many players from that City play Lee to replicate the OG player's success. And yeah Azeem is superb. He got 2nd at a challenger event and also beat Joey on multiple occasions. Beaten guys like Anakin, Shadow, Phidx etc. Definitely the best Feng in NA and one of the best in the world

I found out very quickly online that people do not like mirror matches at all lol. I play a lot of characters and many times I’d just pick the opponents main just for the “let’s see who does it better type thing”. Rarely ends well lol, people get personal quick. People have essentially attached their entire pride to their main character.

I tried helping someone with their Lili a while back, so just a little mirror match and attempt to be as helpful as I could and they practically snapped... lmao. They weren't playing bad, just not really able to fix certain things. I was playing the most risky high reward options I could to counter their style and they couldn't understand how to not get ss matterhorned over and over. Gotta admit I've gotten pretty salty in the bear mirror before, but that was a rare case. Usually I try to make mirrors as fun as possible. Paul vs Paul deathfist contest is a fun one.

The fact that backdash+lowparry is so powerful really speaks to the advantage of certain controllers which allow you to KBD by inputting b,b,d+f instead of b,b,d+b. It basically allows you to option select a KBD + low parry

Really really depends on what characters are at play something like a heihachi mirror would be interesting but if you are playing something like Street Fighter a Dhalsim mirror match just sounds like an absolute nightmare scenario.

idk why people hate mirror matches, as a Pakistani i love mirror matches, imo there is no excuse after one person loses, they were just not better, thats the only thing left to talk about, + mirror matches are like a battle of knowledge, the one who knows the best about the character wins, such a simple thing

@@PhiDX I know the reputation of the US too. 0 Evo 0 TWT and by winning from Arslan Ash once doesn't give someone a certificate that he is a "top tier player". I don't care about his reputation in either the US or Pakistan. Tagging a person Pakistani for the purpose to gain views is pretty shameful act. I will give you the list of top 8 Pakistanis who actually represent Pakistan and then think again you can beat them even in Mirror. Man you can't beat Malik Ash in the mirror just forget about the others. US was average and is average and will average in the Tekken forever.

Bro the expose word is too strong for you to use against a fellow player. Your analysis are well on point but instead you should use this loss as positive because he shows you how to use your main out of your own comfort game play, the pak players they have the whole package, frame data, using only medium and lows safe moves, great defence and great combo moves, you shouldn't be salty.
