I usually do not comment on public forums or videos- but after watching "The Blind" since hearing you all lived in a town a few hours away. I felt very compelled to start watching Duck Dynasty afterwards - which then led to your podcasts and testimonies and have been led to Jesus! I am so glad I found your podcasts. I watched your show Duck Dynasty and respected Phil for not backing down regarding his belief. I lost. My belief, faith years ago, and of course now trying to get it back. Finding your podcast and now reading Phil's book that you mentioned, I am slowly coming back. I live on a river and this year is the first year that I've noticed numerous duck blinds on boats sitting in the river. I kinda feel sorry for them when I look out and see all of the duck blind boats sitting across the river in different city waters and I can hear them doing their duck calls, and two dozen ducks fly over my side of the river out of their range. 😂

All of the OT was to reveal that we, works, obedience to the law/structure/rules was NOT enough. Only in and through Christ do we find freedom. God had to prove to us in OT there was now way it could be by or through us.

Jesus was without sin, but in order to fulfill prophecy (among other things), he was baptised by someone special, too. That someone special was John. Who we’re baptized by may or may not have bearing; I don’t presume to have that level of understanding, but I don’t think it’s fair to condemn someone for wanting to be baptized by a specific, trusted, elder who they look up to. ??

I read something recently and think it is quite profound. Although I have read through the Bible many times when someone would ask me, Why did God choose Israel to be His chosen people, I would stumble around trying to explain. But there is a very simple, concise explanation. God didn’t choose Israel He created Israel through His covenant with Abraham which passed through Isaac and Jacob who had 12 children who then became the nation of Israel. God wanted a Nation 46:52 that was a Holy priesthood, separated from the Pagan Nations through whom He would bring the Messiah to take the sins of all nations, for whoever believes in Him.

@@ruthw1079 He was talking to the Jews at the time. It was the rules to live by under their covenant. The ark of the covenant that brought Christ instructs us to live differently from the Jews under sold Jewish law. Again, read Saint Paul.

Why do you pick and choose what verses you hold others to? Leviticus 19:4 ...says turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods. Or in Leviticus 5, when was the last time you saw anybody sacrificing animals? Leviticus 9 says in harvest, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of the fields neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest, for those are to be left for the poor and strangers. Do you live by that which you hold others to? God was speaking to Moses about rules for Israel. This is the historical part of the Bible... Christians today live by the New Testament, but you would know that if you were truly Christian.

No, physical baptism doesn't wash your sins away, it is an outward symbol that your sins are washed away spiritually

You and the majority are preaching the Kingdom Gospel , Mark 1-4. You should be preaching the Gospel of Grace 1st Corinthians 15 1 -4 , if you preach any other gospel, then Grace . This will be your reward. Galatians 1- 7thru 9.
