I told my kids to tell me when it got to the point where I needed to stop driving. I don't want to be a danger to others or myself. My daughter told me last year. Her 17 year old son takes me where I want to go, God bless them both.

That's so good that you have your family to help you out like that! It is such a blessing to have family that is able to do so! ❤❤😊 When I was growing up in the 80s and 90s (I'll be 40 soon), I remember my grandparents caring for and helping out their parents. (I cherish those memories with my great-grandparents, as well as grandparents!) Then my dad and his first wife took care of his mom until it came to a point where my grandmother needed to be moved to a nursing facility. My mama, uncle, cousins and I took care of/helped out my mama's parents until we were no longer able to. When my mama was at the end of her battle with cancer, where she was no longer able to go to work anymore and get up to do for herself, my dad and I took care of her. She went on to be with the Lord 3 years ago. My daughter was just a baby when she passed. Although my daughter does not remember being around my mama, she has a bunch of photographs and videos of the two of them together. But my daughter helps me out now with my dad full time. (And God willing, she will do the same for me for as long as possible..hopefully..😅😉) It's just something that was normalized in my family when I was growing up. I like the idea of having someone telling you when it's not safe for you to be driving anymore. I will make sure to tell my daughter that as well. (I'll write it on a Post-It note, and put it up somewhere safe if I have to..😅) Thank you for the idea! ❤ Ooof... Sorry about the book. I love talking with people. (Especially about Jesus and the good ole days.❤❤) Take care, love and blessings to you and your family! 🙏❤😊🕊

No to the chauffeurs at 65. People are working up until age 67-70 and we are the better drivers, so that statement is nuts 😮 and BTW, most of us still wear watches, too 😊 It all depends on the individual. My mother-in-law still drives, and she is 85. Love you guys, God bless you all, this is our favorite podcast!

Hey Phil, Allan, Jase and Zack whom I don’t really recognize but hello to all! I love the unashamed podcasts I have been binging on them for a week now! Watching the Phil Gets Disrespected in New Zealand show right now at 7am I need to go to bed I have to work tonight! I wanted to say I love all of you guys on the podcast but Allan you make so many profound statements and comments and my spiritual man feeds off of your stories but as a Pastor your great words of wisdom do not surprise me. I have been a Christian since 1975, at the age of 15 I am now 63, was ordained minister at 18 and I love the Lord. You all really inspire and uplift my walk with the Lord. I’ll see you on the next podcast I have to go to bed now I work at 8pm tonight. God bless hope to meet you all someday, if not here surely in Heaven. Thanks for all you guys do for the Kingdom of God! 🙏✝️

Jase… you have been my favorite, but you are on very thin ice buddy. 😢 From a 66 yr old grandma that is not ready to turn her keys in, I choose to continue working full time at an elementary school. That is my heart and ministry. I don’t like the zombie idea (think Chad & Lori Daybell) and I don’t care for your thoughts towards seniors citizens. You’ll be there before you know it. Just be nice.

Al, I agree-powerful scene in the movie, “Jesus Revolution” where the older man all dressed in his fine clothes, walks across the aisle to sit next to a hippie. That is being Jesus! Zack, glad your wife is ok-you are a good hubby to be concerned. Also, Zack, all the time, effort & love you put into getting “The Blind” movie made is so appreciated. Such a transforming movie! Jase, admitting you compare yourself to the older son in the prodigal lesson was so honest & full of humility. Love the cricket button. Phil, sharing the details of your New Zealand visit was interesting. The fact that some who were “muttering” in disapproval actually called you back to apologize was cool. Great podcast. ✝️

I saw the Blind two times. Once by myself and the other with two cousins. Unfortunately, they aren't ready. Which leads me to ask, who baptized you all? Was it thru your church? Or simply by a small gathering with a pastor and a few to witness? I am inspired by the entire Robertson clan, just because I come from a family similar to yours. My Great Uncle was a pastor and I had many "Crazy" uncles who loved to make fun of Uncle Wilber, but, Uncle Wilber only prayed for them and all of the family. We have all been prodicals, until Our Savior redeemed us.

Love Fulfills the Law (Leviticus 19:9-18) 8Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

I would love to be baptized by Mr.Phil, I think he is a wonderful and honest man about everything including his past. It takes great bravery to admit to things you did that your ashamed of and have a movie made about it to help people who need Jesus. He touches my heart ❤️ You can tell he is a very good and kind man. If there is a way to request him to baptize me please let me know. I would be honored to meet him and even more honored to have my sins washed away in his presence. I've been watching re-runs of Duck Dynasty, I've never watched it a day in my life until I watched the trailer for the movie. Since then I have been binge watching Unashamed and the show. I need God in my life and I want to be born again and baptized. Let's see how you feel about who should quit driving the closer you get to 65 Jason. You are living in la-la land if you think most of us can afford someone to drive us around. Just because you can afford to hire people to drive your parents around doesn't mean that everyone can. That comment had to upset a lot of your followers. I just took at 3,000 miles driving trip this summer to see friends and family, by myself driving 8 hours a day on the highway with no problems. I think many of your followers are in their 60's +. 6 months ago I came across two videos on TikTok. One of Rachael Joy Scott and the other of Phil Robertson. It was their testimonies to their faith in Jesus Christ. Those testimonies led me to finding Jesus in a rough period in my life. Since then everything I lost over the years has been restored and my heart has been made new. Not because I deserved it, but simply because I put my faith in the life, the death, the burial, and the RESURRECTION of Jesus of Nazareth. I was so far from God for years, but when I came to my senses at 22 years old I was welcomed into the kingdom with open arms. 3 months or so after my baptism they made a movie about Phil Robertson called The Blind. The same testimony that led me to Jesus is now in live action at the movies and thousands are being led to Christ because of it. God is great. Thank you Mr. Phil for your obedience to God and sharing your story despite the weight of that time period in your life. I know it wasn’t easy for you. But it helped saved me and many others.

That was a good thought at the end with how dumb sheep are and that how we are compared to sheep and need a shepherd also. The point with Jesus eating with the tax collectors and sinners, I remember reading something about "do well/healthy people need a Dr?" That Jesus didn't come for the righteous but the unrighteous, which is all people. I just like relating to things I've read in the Bible and hear others talk about.

Jase is too full of himself. Is age the one parameter that dictates good driving? Also is his father who sits there silently a good bit of the time interrupting Jase who chatters on quite a bit? And after his father reads the Bible, Jase needs to “reset“ the conversation? I’m pretty sure the conversation is because of his father, not in spite of it.

Jase there’s a lot of verses 1& 2!!! WHAT BOOK ARE YOU IN ??? Y’all do that a lot, it sure would be nice if y’all were to tell what BOOK YOU ARE IN.. Please read the last 10 verses of Revelation, y’all are really bad about leaving things out of the Bible, I am not being rude just honest.. Please tell where you are in the Bible Thanks

In the words of Seinfeld, "You've got a regular Algonquin Roundtable there" with this channel. QAnon is alive and well here.
