I can honestly see why phil says this album is his favourite, each song gives me goosebumps especially survivors, we fly so close & we wait and wonder. this man is a Shere genius. If the phil collins haters of the world listened to his underatted material like that of this album people would be introduced to meaningful passionate music. Fact: This entire album (writing, instruments, vocals) was created by Phil from his home studio following another divorce.

Not entirely true. Phil's divorce wasn't finalised until '94 over an affair he admitted to having with an old fling. I believe either this song or I've Forgotten Everything is actually about said woman which he goes through in his biog Not Dead Yet and admits, he was a "basterd". Meanwhile his and Jill Taveman's relationship was really on the rocks during the Both Sides tour where he explained how before or after a Frankfurt performance, she kept hanging the phone up on him resulting in him faxing her pleading to speak to him - hence then the story bout him divorcing her that way.
