I'm 62. I grew up on Phil Collins. I can't stand more than a few minutes or walk any distance due to severe arthritis. I have to do everything sitting down. I understand why he sits, and am SO GLAD he hasn't given up due to his physical limitations, but rather adapted to them so he can continue to do what he loves. Thanks Phil, for not giving up!

He had a on stage accident. Broke his hip. Surgery on hip. I went to see him at his Ga Concert he was still in Chair. But it was one of the best Concerts I've attended.

I have tears!!!!! Mr. Phil Collins! You and your music have shaped me in the most positive way! Especially today as I sit here and listen at the young old age of 56! I am so proud to have grown up in the mid 80’s with your lyrics (true heartfelt words) that still get me through some of the worst days ever! What a gift you have shared with the world! I do mean the entire world! I truly hope your legacy and the positive influence you have made (at least on this grateful human) don’t go unnoticed. Let’s take a minute or ten for that matter, to resonate with what is truly happening before our eyes at our world as it has come to be. We are in this together. We are blessed! Drum on my friend!

For people to stay with Phil for 50...40...30 yrs that honestly tells you the type of person Phil Collins is. Just like Jagger and Steven...Bruce. you have to be genuinely a good person to have band members that long. Their lives are intertwined forever. An the he introduces his son on the drums 18 yrs old. Enough said.

Top musicians like Leland Sklar could work for anyone but they choose Phil Collins because of how he treats people. That is what loyalty is all about. That tells you what kind of person Phil Collins is. Not just a great musician but a great person too! Saw him live almost 40 years ago with Genesis. Still Fantastic and still going Strong! Keep Rocking Phil!

I was a kid during a lot of the golden age of Phil's career. I remember listening to a lot of his 80's and early 90's hits when they were new all the way up to his Disney days and then of course coming to his Motown covers, and it's amazing that despite his health, he's still out there. God bless him! I hope I'm still doing my thing when I'm in my elder years the way Phil is now. Props to his son, may he have as long of a successful career as his dad. And props to his band, still out there with Phil despite their older age. Amazing, all of them! I hope people are still listening to and singing along with the music of Phil Collins a 100 years from now!

@Will E. Fistergash Saw that at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago which was designed for unamplified orchestral performances by the great Chicago architect Louis Sullivan. Look it up on KZbin, you won't find a more stunning venue. In all the concerts I saw there ( including The Lamb) I never heard one bad note and is sonically perfect! Also forgot to add that was Phil Collins 16th show as vocalist for Genesis and Bruford (wearing the Bruins shirt ) drumming as well . The light show with large images on screen was outstanding !

Man, it's good to see him still gigging, but it's kind of heartbreaking too. Although he must be so proud of his son, not being able to play himself must be frustrating as hell. Still, he's clearly doing this because he still loves playing his songs for people in whatever capacity he can manage (and he hasn't needed to record or tour to pay the bills since the end of the 80s). It's just hard to accept. Phil was one of the best, most dynamic and accomplished drummers of all time. He played on literally hundreds of records and was always able to add some extra dimension to them. It's great to see him out on stage, but awful to see him in such a bad way. Only one drum kit on the stage just doesn't look right.

Genesis including Peter, Chester, Darryl and Steve,. Just Amazing, there music has given so much pleasure to so many. There are very few things in life that can take you back in time. A single note can bring beautiful memories flooding back, you close your eyes and your there. Your 16 again, 23 again, in love for the first time again. There music inspires just like the Beatles music inspired genesis. Life would of been such a different world without them and there music. The lamb, selling England, three sides live Gabriel plays live. Imagine waking up today and tonight your going to Gabriel plays live. Or three sides live. Chester and Phil on drums. Heavy.

Love you,Phil 🌹💘!!! Ein ostdeutscher Fan 😍 💋!
