Until we met again,,, I know this life is just a stepping stone to something even more profound than the beautiful life we all get to live here… My father raised me on Doctor Phil Collins albums… His songs will always bring me the memory of my father.. Not looking forward to the days we all part ways here but I give thanks for the life he has given us and I know until we met again one day, we all fly so close..❤❤❤❤

The original album was released back in the 1990's thereabouts, most radio stations RARELY play a song with a runtime that long back in the day. Hell, further back, producers were quibbling about how long Queen's Bohmenian Rhapsody was way too long - and it was only over FIVE MINUTES long.

Lyrics ('We never realise just how close we come to disaster whether in love or everyday life...') My harbour lights are fading fast soon they'll disappear Alone I sit in darkness hoping someone might come near Though I wait, though I try no one ever comes And the feelings that I have flood over me The river starts to run We fly so close We fly so close Sometimes we fly too close Every place you run to, everywhere you turn There are places that you know you should not go but some bridges just won't burn All my life, though I try I cannot change the past And the ghosts that come back to haunt you make you realise at last We fly so close We fly so close Sometimes we fly too close We fly too close My heart is racing much faster now Life passes before my eyes Something's I see, they make me smile something's they make me cry So I look, so I try to find a lesson I can learn The passing of time hasn't changed my mind and the ghosts I know return You know we fly so close Uuh we fly so close Sometimes we fly too close We fly too close Oh we fly so close, you and I sometimes Sometimes we fly so close, We'll never know how many times Oh we fly so close We fly so close

A incredible ballad, with a haunting spiritual ambiance and the particular sound of the guitar of the opening (he played all the instruments of the album). The rage of the song remains of her peformance of ''Do You Know Do You Care'' or ''I Don't Care Anymore'', but for this, he also expressed her sadness of the situation and analysed his situation. This song was a incredible pop ballad. A particular ambiance and also the thunder at the end finished in beauty this song. This will be my second favorite song of his career and also my favorite song of the ''Both Sides'' album.

We fly, we fly and we fly... life itself is an eternal flight, and between departures and arrivals, we stop and look, trying to analyze if it was worth it... it was worth life for happiness, was worth life for the falls... but it was worth it because it was lived with intensity. If it was worth it to me? I'm still here, some happy moments, others sad, others asking for answers... and in others why? A good song... that makes us reflect Phil Colins.
