Big fan of their early works, but had never heard this version. Interesting mix! I saw the Misplaced Childhood tour in 1986. Great show!

Never heard this mix before. It's not as gentle as the album version - -the drums are very high in the mix. THIS was the song that got me into the album and the band, thanks to the (pseudo?) acoustic piano! Thanks for the upload! 3-26-17

Britanicus was supposed to be roman emperor after his father Claudius, but he was killed, so Nero became the roman emperor. Claudia Octavia, sister of Britanicus, became the first wife of Nero. The cover of the EP "Lavender" shows Claudia Octavia being enthroned by Britanicus: "I heard the children singin' They were runnin' through the rainbows They were singin' a song for you Well it seemed to be a song for you The one I wanted to write for you. (...) When I am king, You will be queen
