Holy smoke! My parents and I used to be in hysterics watching this back in the day,and it’s still brilliant. It also explains why old Tel took the mick out of David Icke - hidden secrets.

What strikes me about watching his 80s stuff is not only how funny it is, but how little it must have cost to produce. There have been many British comedy series which look like they cost a fortune without providing much in the way of laughs. "Cool It" must have had the highest laughs per pound of any series

He's still at it I'm happy to say. I saw him in Concert with Jasper Carrott back in 2004. Still as rubber faced as ever.

@HOLLYwoodgoesFRANKIE Grey hair or not he was brilliant. So embarrassed that a tiny theatre like that was half empty. People don't know what they missed. A class act.

We used to think Mike Yarwood was good. Then this guy came along. Then came Rory Bremner and this guy disappeared. Now we have John Culshaw.

The same could be said for most of today's so called "comedians".
