Phil Driscoll sings from his heart the love he has for Jesus Christ .❤️It's very evident in his voice and the trumpet is incredibly beautiful ..I was newly saved when introduced to Phil Driscoll at the local church I was attending...His music always brings back those memories for me and it was a night I will never forget ...I thought I might already be in heaven !!! LOVE YOU PHIL ...THANK YOU ❤️ 🙏

Phil Driscoll, is an enigma. He is full and filled of the Holy Spirit. His music is soul lifting. He is a joy bringer with his deft handling of musical instruments, especially, the horn. I pray God will spare him, to be here for a long while more. Phil Driscoll is a hero unarguably!
@kimmilberg78672 жыл бұрын
I heard him preach and he can preach as good as he can play the trumpet. Its been about 5 years and I can STILL remember what he spoke about. I have rarely met a man who is so passionate about the things of God and the music he plays for our Heavenly Father.

As a kid I would listen to Phil Driscolls cassette tape and play my trumpet along. At one time around my senior year in high school I could match his greatness. 25 years later I wish i had never stopped playing.

J Nicholson you must have been exceptional to have "matched his greatness" at 17 or 18 years of age. I wonder if you practiced at least two hours a day as Phil Driscoll does
@cardawg299 жыл бұрын
I practiced more than 2 hours. probably 4-6 hours. It wasn't practice though. it was simpl having fun and messing around. I never truly applied myself.

***** Aaahhh, yes, I love Phil Driscol -- a highly under-rated Christian artist. But Amazing Grace, while I do love that old John Newton song, is not my favourite -- my favourite is still, "The Old Rugged Cross", and I was silenced to the core of my being when I heard Craig Wayne Boyd sing it on "The Voice" last year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l57bdmtmj89kj9U
@Pureheart2heart9 жыл бұрын
That was great, don't hear the old hymns like in former days...but we did sing The Old Rugged Cross today at a Lutheran care facility. Loved watching the older generation singing as best they could. It was a treat and then we sang How Great Thou Art (another one of my favorites).

I had a childhood acquaintance that played & like trumpet. He liked Phil & I only know his name because he mentioned it. I was so impressed with his trumpet playing when I first heard of him, even though I don't care for the trumpet, Phil really is amazing. This is a figure of speech but which ever Angel is going to blow his trumpet when our Savior comes back, I would love to hear a solo together with those two when God tells me: Well done thy good & faithful servant. Tears are feeling the wells of my eyes as I typed the last part! I love you Lord with all my heart: Amen!

My friend, God take a different route with everyone to get to Him. maybe Phil had to go through that to find Him and later inspire someone who is there now where him (Phil) was a couple of years back. we never look at one another's past but instead help them along. Phil was great for Music and will be my trumpet hero always. and his history shouldnt ever have anything to do with his music. Ps as a musician for 20+ years I have learned that people with issues always make better Musicians

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:1-10
