Sam Soverel’s pocket 10 fold was an amazing lay down. So difficult to fold that hand when you’re short stacked

Considering he punted with QAo before to end up a short stack then got it in with 8s maybe not so praise worthy as he only folded because of ICM. The 3 bet from early also means usually better than 10s.

Haters are desperate to call it cheating but it clearly isn't 'cheating' in the strictest sense, it's just doing all you can to equalise odds in games where the house has real edge(IE all of them lol)

Not really? He has so many damm outs and given the stacks of the other two opponents, it was the best choice. What do you do just call? When you know most likely your opponent will go all in anyways on the River. Might as well shove and either hope for players to fold or get a call and hit one of your many outs.

Against normal person Ivey would definitely bet there, however Soverel is not a recreational player, he knows Ivey only represents ace club which is unlikely given he is the big blind. Also Soverel could have ace club in his own hand, so he just checks
