I remember the time I was missioning in Amsterdam, the summer of '85, when our Musicians for Missions group traveled to the festival out of town. Phil just flew in the night before, only had three hours of sleep but managed to meet with us for a class someone named "How to Play the Guitar". We all knew you were so tired but you still took the time to teach us how to play one of your songs. The one about saving children. Every interaction through the years with you has been a pleasure, and I always appreciate your pleasantness and attention Phil.
