Love you Phil! I’ve been listening to those 2 singes religiously every day. It’s been 6 long years my friend. As a fan I can’t wait for the album release and as another fellow man, I’m genuinely happy for you and the band. I miss Oli’s guitar work but Jason is an absolute beast. Whether it’s 6 days or 6 years I’ll always support ATR music 🤘

This is a great chat. So much respect for both of y'all. Phil is so right about the importance of focusing on writing good SONGS vs just focusing on solos or breakdowns. And that Thomas Sowell quote is spot on.

An excellent conversation. It hurts my heart that you gentlemen have had to deal with such devastating losses. The pain doesn’t go away. It just becomes familiar. But I did hear a guy say that life wouldn’t be so precious if there never was an end. ❤❤

Ill be honest, I was really skeptical knowing there was new music on the horizon. Its not that i thought anything would be bad its just musically its a different band than rhe one i fell in love with, then i really sat and thought about it and thought about taking my buddy to his first concert ever and it was ATR in 2009, how many nights i stayed up listening to music, id be wrong for not giving it a chance and i was blown away. Cant wait to hear the rest

All that remains opened for Megadeth in 2006. I was one of three people in the entire crowd who had any idea who they were. I had the album cover in hand, and Oli talked to us for a few minutes signed the cover. I guess oli was taking to long for Phil's liking he came over and told Oli to hurry up. We asked politely for an autograph and he literally told us to f off.

I saw atr twice in spfd mo First time (I was at will call before the show) Oli came up to the ticket line & everyone outside maybe 4 hours before the doors were to open & thanked everyone for coming to the show Second time, Oli was at the merch table after atr had played and was basically doing 1-1 meet & greets for anyone that wanted to talk.
@JamesPhillips-cp4vn4 ай бұрын
He was awesome to talk to. The oldest pic in my phone is me & him after our talk-very kind guy that the world & music misses

I've met the band quite a few times , and they were always so nice (Janine and oli) oli was sooo cool and I never even seen Phil. He seems like a dick. Love the older music but the new stuff is just politics so I don't listen

This is my first time not seeing the guest in the studio. I miss the old atr. Once Phil got into politics and the music was politically charged. It wasn't the same. I bet that's why genine quit. But i met all of them a few times and were all really cool. Except Phil he was nowhere to be found from like 12 shows. Luckily I was front center at a small venue and he was singing over me lol. But the other band members were chilled before and after show. Never seen Phil anywhere other than stage, and also Mike was never really out there

Johnny what do you think about Steve Harris from Iron Maiden? I’ve also wondered who some of your bass influences are
@rattlehead45365 ай бұрын
Lyrics do not always draw me in. I hear riffs and hooks, melody and an innovative drummer will separate a band from the others. ATR and Avenged are clear examples.

8:44 “neither side makes that argument” that’s objectively not true whatsoever and you’re lying if you disagree. Full stop. You can’t say you don’t make such an argument when you go and say things that explicitly describe not only that you make such an argument, but HOW you wish to implement your stance. It’s been well documented on both sides how this topic is presented and argued.

Im sure the label was like please "let them think they are getting away with something big. Also, that's odd oli said i want saying to take my spot essentially. But we don't need anymore alt right political/gun music lol
