Massive respect to you phil. The peoples champion. Love watching you race, as you come across as any other sunday warrior who goes racing. And your banter is just to die for, as so many people can relate to it. Not like alot of the robot riders who have to watch what they say. Massive respect all the way from England, uk 👌

Thank You Phil for all the enjoyment you have brought to us over the years ! All of us whom the sport lives in our hearts and souls, and the marrow of our bones, are sincerely grateful for having you grace our television sets and all the racetracks we have cheered you on ! Everyone knows that all good and great things that happen in our lives must come to an end at some point. Graciously, you will be sadly missed as another icon in the sport that moves on to another chapter of life :) From Roger DeCoster to Damon Bradshaw, you will never be forgotten as one of the competitors that brought wonderful color to the sport ! You lived the dream many who do not have the means wanted to live. I grew up in the 70's not alot of money, but we rode and raced it was the greatest time of my life. I dreamed of being the next Marty Smith or Hanna. However what I did get was a lifetime of dirtbikes, the last race of the season in a local series tied with the guy you have raced with every weekend all year is just as exciting as racing for a national championship to them. That happens all over every year. Not a bad way to spend a life Id say. Thanks for being the everyday guy who chased his dream, lived it and now can enjoy an In - N - Out burger or some Sweet concoction from the local bakery. Enjoy the retirement, I hope to say Hi at the Ironman this year and every year after as you lead that team. ( maybe).
