I wasn't high on Drake Maye before the draft; I'm so glad he's proved me wrong. Now, I'm in love with our QB. He looks like he's going to be the best QB of this draft and a top 5 QB for his career, if the Pats give him weapons and a real coach.

There's multiple LTs scheduled to be FA. Alaric Jackson, Dan Moore, Colts guy, Walker Little, Cam Robinson. We'll see who makes it to FA.

There are good OL players this year who hopefully make it to FA. In thagt event, im a fan of overpaying for Trey Smith and one of the few OTs. Plus drafting another OT high in the 2nd or back end of the first. Give me Higgins and McMillan in the draft and start to build a very different type of team.

I’d personally like to see them beef up the o line in the draft and go out and spend on an established, reliable and proven wr1 in free agency. Can’t afford to miss on another high round wide out like Polk. Still think Polk will get it together eventually but he looked so good in camp I was expecting a quick start from him.

Phil, normally is the smartest and best dude covering the Pats. But, he's dead wrong about the LT discussion. There is no left tackle worth paying for in free agency. The BEST left tackles in football over the last 5+ years have come from the top 10 picks in the draft. Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks are the highest rated offensive prospects not named Travis Hunter. There are two other tackles that are also projected to go top-25. If we spend money on a 30 year old Robinson, and not a top 10 pick on the LT, then everyone should be fired immediately. This isn't Chase versus Sewell. It's Sewell on a silver platter with no other realistic options. After Travis Hunter the next best receiver is not even top-15 on major draft projections. If you have a top-12 pick: Shadeur Sanders (not a need, obviously), Travis Hunter, a handful of edge rushers, a couple DTs, Jeanty, Kelvin Banks, and Will Campbell are your choices. No other skill positions are as highly rated. Spend the money on Tee Higgins, and/or FUTURE picks on acquiring DK Metcalf. Build your trenches through the draft and develop them.

@@DMKFACTOR those are projected free agents, but they are in different situations than Robinson. Robinson was traded at the deadline from a trash team, and Minnesota won't need him once their starter comes back. Bolles and Stanley are pieces that are valued by the Ravens and Broncos. I find it unlikely that they make it out of phase 1 of free agency. Great left tackles don't end up available in FA. If they don't get signed in phase 1, then they likely have red flags.

@ You said there was NO ONE! All three of those names will all be available! The teams they’re on all have cap issues to deal with which won’t allow them to spend like that on a tackle! The Patriots have plenty of resources, and proven last year they aren’t holding back! No tackles in the draft both Banks and Campbell are projected to be guards. Saying no tackles available in free agency is complete ignorance!

@@DMKFACTOR a few anonymous scouts back in August said that Campbell and Banks would be better inside. That is a laughable source to prove your idiotic point to take AVERAGE tackles between 26-30 years old in the open market, or sell out for a 32-year old LT in Bolles. And look at the tackles that were RETAINED by teams they played for last year. And look at the ones that weren't last year. You can clearly see why. I'm not paying market value for LTs that are not top-15 when I have the pick to take a young, high upside prospect. The general consensus is that Banks and Campbell are tackles. And they are the best rated ones in college. It's really not complicated.
