Phil is the best Pats reporter in the area, and one of the best in a long time. I agree with him that Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter will be gone in top 3, and Cam Ward will be gone. So that leaves us with no 'most likely stud' that the first 3 are. And then Phil's opinion that the Pats will likely move back in the draft... oh, I would love to hear from Phil about using Joe Milton here and there as a change up, and definitely down near the goal line. If I am an opposing DC, I would actually be a bit more fearful of BIG Joe near that goal line. He is a LARGE, STRONG dude...

Abdul Carter is the best player in the draft and hopefully pats get him. But if he and hunter are gone, that’s the best case scenario for pats as so many teams will wanna trade up for one of the qbs. Then they could grab t-mac, graham, jeonty or an offensive lineman later

If McMillan is available at 4 I’d take him over Hunter. McMillan is a true WR he’s tall, good hands, same size, weight, and frame as Randy Moss when he came out of the draft. Not saying he is the next Randy Moss but his height, hands, and speed he has tremendous potential.

There could a Left Tackle in free agency or by trade also. I would be disappointed if they take Hunter or Carter at 4 nothing against those two I just like Tet if he is available at 4.

As time has gone by, I'm growing increasingly optimistic that the Patriots sit in a high leverage spot now. If you agree that one QB will go in top 3, then there will be teams who will want to trade up to secure the 2nd QB off the board. If you think 2 QBs go, then 1 of Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter will be available. I'd be happy with either selection. I'd rather we trade out and get another pick and get an OT at and around the 10 pick.

Why? The offensive was as bad as it will ever be. The patriots get a strong o-line starter back from season ending injury. They have the most cap space by a country mile, at 128 million vs raiders next at 92 million and only 6 teams even having over $50 million in space. They have 4 picks in the top 100, so could draft or trade for help as well. On top of this, have an OC that has a clue how to use maye. No maye will be fine

Trade 4 for 10 and 41 (with Chicago)…or similarly with the Panthers. Get say Banks and Jackson (edge from Arkansas). Pats still have 38 pick up (Membou from Missouri). Get Higgins as a FA and draft one of the Ohio state RBs and pick up a LB or CB with 77.
