A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger." The word ANSWER....a soft answer....meaning....you didnt start this interaction, but you responded softly. That should be our first step, as Mr Robertson said, when conflict occurs. And if they keep coming at you with intent to harm, THEN defend. There is nothing wrong with defense. We need to have family structure and God in our homes. After my grandparents passed away I saw my family going separate ways. It's very sad. Cause at one time we all came together as family Christmas Thanksgiving Easter or really at anytime. I miss that so much!!! I can remember as child in 80s sitting at table with my granny snapping green beans from garden and yes I love it and at times she read veruses from Bible. Before my mom passed away I remember her putting little bit of her eyeshadow on my eyes. I remember her hugs n kisses my forehead. And granny hugs n going grocery shopping with my grandad. He passed away from a accident in June & within moments his narcissist mother & her flying monkeys came at me like Sharks. Our 23 yr old son rushed down the staircase & said, Back away from my Mom. We had our neighbor of 10+ years come up in front of our driveway and pointed a gun at my moms husband and his workers( he has a masonry business). The past few years they’ve been having a feud until one day that man brandished a weapon. And finally pointed it at them. This happened in 2 cases. You never know what the other person is thinking. It can be your neighbor of more than a decade. Never let your guard down! And always protect what you love!
