I was born again on January 18th, 1970 being buried with Jesus in baptism. It's been more than 50 years since, and I'm learning more with each reading of His Word! Don't be discouraged if Bible study is difficult at times ... the more you study, the more it fits what you're living through. Don't give up ... God Bless

What is behind..... That is so powerful. In January 2021 I fell ill. Through my own fear and sadness I forgot my savior. All I thought of was my loss and fear. In the hospital I almost died of renal failure. I was alone in a very small room in the early hours of the day. I was so ill! I began to pray. I asked for a priest as I knew that I was dying, but the fear of Covid prevented that. From 2:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. I knew what it was to be without hope for the pain was so intense. Finally I cried out to God for help. Suddenly I felt a peace. There was still pain and fear but I felt the presence of God. I was granted more time on earth with my family. Thank you Lord God..

Just remember, your forgiveness isn’t based on your feelings. God said He forgives ALL who repent and turn back to Him. That means either you’re forgiven, or God didn’t keep His promise. Which is more likely to be true, brother?

I am enjoying these so much. I have recently turned my life to Christ more so than I ever have in my life. I was saved when I was very young. But now as an adult with children of my own to set an example for it has changed everything. It has made me realize just how much I NEED CHRIST not just my children..but my husband and I as well. Phil, I needed to hear your message about putting the past behind me. I’ve struggled for 28 yrs trying to do just that! I pray all the time for God’s forgiveness of that time in my life! You just broke it all down in the simplest way! I am a new creation! I know it’s a sin to not believe I was forgiven long ago! My 17 yr old grandson says my MO is God, Family and Country. I’m so grateful that’s what I project to him. When I was his age I had done it all. I’m proud to say he has done NONE of those things, not one! He’s an A+ young man going to college in a fall on a full academic scholarship. I played a big part in raising him and now I feel like I failed him by sheltering him! His circle of friends for the past 13 yrs are kids just like him. I encouraged that, Oh Lord what have I done! You said it yourself when Kyle was on the Unashamed podcast a few days ago! That struck me like a lightning bolt! He’s gonna be living in a dorm without his friends! This comment was intended to TY for helping me get over my past! I don’t know why it ended up about my grandson! Please Pray this strong willed child gets out of there alive!

I am a Christian since birth (Lutheran) and have a terrible time with ruminating my past behavior. I am 55 years old with two kids in college. In the Fall my wife and I will be true empty nesters. I pray and have had some really great answers from our Lord Jesus and thus say prayers of thanksgiving. I just cannot shake the rumination going on in my head. My wife and kids love me. I am overwhelmed with guilt about being a hothead around them. Please pray for me Phil.
