This is heart warming my dad is 82 and love him dearly, he walks 2 Walmart a day and hangs out at a truck stop at 4 everyday. Your story truly touches my heart!! I am so happy for you and your family!! I was given up at birth and went into the foster care system and then adopted at 4 months of age. I was truly blessed to of been adopted by my Dad and Mom. I was raised in a Christian home. When I was 41 years of age I was able to access my adoption records. It is a long story. But I have 7 half brothers & sisters on my biological Dad's side and 2 half brothers on my biological Mom's side. My biological Dad was murdered in 1971. I did get to meet my biological Mom 22 months before she died of cancer. I wished I could of known my biological family many years ago but I am blessed to know them now. I pray you and your family have many many more years together.

I think this is great. I never knew my father so I understand the emotion. My mother told me his name a few months before she passed away in 2017. Said he was an only child, and adopted, died when I was very young and had no other family for me to know. ...i'm 49.
