The story is also a testament to Peter Boyle's immense talent that he played the scene so well he put Ray in a place where he felt comfortable and able to go with the flow. It's one of Frank Barone's better moments and Peter should have won an Emmy for it.

Wonderful! I love how thoughtful and tender Mr Rosenthal and Ray are about the characters. That's what you need to make a great TV show. It came as no surprise to learn that Mr Rosenthal is Jewish. The Jews are special people, blessed by God, and their eminent prosperity in so many fields proves that the Bible is true!

I've wondered if Jewish people have slightly higher IQ's because of the persecutions endured for thousands of years. There would have been hundreds of thousands of instances where smarter people in the group lived, and average people didn't live to reproduce at the same rate.

Romano is the least funny thing about that show; the co actors is what makes the show; they could have gotten ride of Romano completely and the show would have been just as funny and popular; maybe even now. same thing with Seinfeld and jerry's zero talent ass.
