Correct me if i'm wrong but i think xbox will own over 30 developers if the ABK deal goes through. So they can do BOTH GP and Mobile.. Especially once they get ownership over King. You're probably right about how they will focus less on xbox but that's been known for a while.

@@vetleallum2965 i agree with you, i dont know what's happing but it feels like they are less confident on the game pass or normal AAA games, the problem with AAA games is they take too much time and money to make and they dont sell well compared to other games like free 2 play games, and players who wants AAA games and pay monthly can't wait, especially when they pay 120$ to 180$ a year and just get cheap indie games, buying xbox is not enough if there is no engagement with the games and services, btw sony also switching to service games i think they announced that they are making 10 service games, but at least they are releasing new normal AAA games every year, microsoft needs to fix there studios, coz next year it will be harder to compete with spider man 2 coming from sony and maybe a new nintendo console

Do note that just because the console market for Game Pass is saturated "today" doesn't mean that Game Pass won't still grow with the Series X|S platform. I expect Series X|S to outsell the Xbox 360 by a not insignificant margin (Series S will be the only budget console this generation), so as you see Xbox adoption rise and eventually pass 100 Million units you're probably going to see Game Pass maintain an install base of roughly half that number.

I like both PS and Xbox. But maan, listening to Phil Spencer feels like listening to another gamer. Which sadly pales in comparison to PS's Jim Ryan, when he speaks he sounds like the IRS.

True story: I was playing old school RuneScape ~2 weeks before the CyberPunk “hacked Xbox presentation” trailer at E3 2018, and there was a guy with the username PhilSpencer who popped into a popular-at-the-time clan chat I was in and started talking/acting as if he was actually the guy, and was telling people to tune into E3 Xbox event for a special presentation. Most people ignored him but I and a few other people replied like “Lol yeah okay” and other stuff, and before he left he left us with a one-word teaser that was “hack”, and then he left. It could’ve easily just been some Xbox employee/insider pretending to be PS and going around teasing old school RS players about the upcoming event, but I like to think Phil really does/did play some old school runescape in his free time and just went around teasing the reveal for shits and giggles. He seems like a really cool guy IRL. Shame CyberPunk turned out the way it did though. Oof.

Read between the lines my friend. Xbox needs exclusives to please a certain audience and get people to play on the Xbox rather than other consoles. But they also need to have huge games on other platforms so they can make the big bucks. Case by case basis - he's said that before.

Is Modern Warfare II’s software manipulating player values (aim, health, movement and etc.) for any reason? Are you confident in Activision’s Ricochet anti-cheat? Has Activision delivered premium content? Has content been released as advertised in a timely manner? Is Call of Duty Modern Warfare II worth AAA money? What have you?
