I'm a councilor at a Christian summer camp and everytime we have a lesson we sing a song for it. So when we teach about how God made each of us fearfully and wonderfully we sing this. All the kids love this song so much.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. -Psalm 118:8 Praise God! :-) It is in between the shortest and longest chapters in the Bible. I've been told it's the exact center of the Bible with 1188 verses before it and 1188 verses after it and has 594 chapters before it and 594 chapters after it. Most of all though, it shows Gods will for how we live our lives and handle our problems and doubts :-)

It can be historically proven that the Bible we use today is the same as one that might have been used 1600 years ago. And that's just the new testament; it is even easier to prove that the old testament we use today is exactly the same as it has always been for at least 3000+ years. Christianity is a very rational faith, all things considered.

Jesus Christ paid the wages of sin, death, that we deserve to pay. We are all sinful, unable to be in the presence of God. God showed his love for us in sending his son down in our place on the cross. A substitute..our sin for his righteousness and perfection. If you have faith alone in Jesus the Lord for his replacement of your sin on the cross, and accept this free, unearned, undeserved gift, then you will become his son, a child who has eternal life and a relationship with Jesus the Lord!

just the little babies? that's cuz they're too busy being selfish - no time for thinking of other people. no ignorance here. when will we realize that we dont know everything and wont understand everything? God is good and is a Just God. He knows what He's doing.
@badboy568915 жыл бұрын
My friend the Bible is God breathed. It might have been written by mere humans, but God spoke through them. The Bible should be used for teaching, rebuking and building up in Christ. Though the entire Bible should not be taken literally, prayer and worship and The Word are the few places one can go to without having to have a guard up!

Actually, there is ample historical research and evidence that strongly supports the veracity of the Bible. I'm at work now and cannot commit the time to provide links, etc. You may start with Chip Ingram's Why I Believe series, Christian Research Institute, and research of historical methods for determining the accuracy of documents, though that's just scratching the surface. It may not be an easy task, but well worth it.

blah, those who have not truly experienced God have chance - ONLY if thye open their hearts and ears. I say selfish b/c you wont let God take the driver's set - you think you've got it all figured out. it's not the case. and yes, people are entitled to believe what they want to - you can believe that 1 + 1 = 3, but whether you like it or not, it's wrong. get what i mean??

I'm a Christian and I commend your spirit but that's simply not true. The Bible is a cultural document and no Christian believes and lives like it's completely infallible. We should read it with respect but still understand that it's recorded by humans. It's full of good stuff but we need to read it guarded and with the knowledge of the people and situation in which it was written. God Bless, Stephen. :-)

Because you totally spend every second of everyday being productive, right? You might want to spend sometime on learning English while you're at it.
@WundayLate10 жыл бұрын
cowboyupaldana Or maybe it's because it's bad that I had to respond. Think about that. Why don't you do something productive rather than bashing on people for their faith. You are a bigot and need to leave.
@shadesofcooltoo10 жыл бұрын
yea,agree,you people are full of bad ideas. and yes i think and i question and no i don't bash fools like you they jump right in,read back,of course am leaving,why try to give medicine to the death.
@WundayLate10 жыл бұрын
cowboyupaldana Well obvious you don't question, and you definitely don't think. Nothing in that sentence made any sense. You're right, why should anybody give medicine to those already dead? Yet God does so out His grace and mercy. I really hope you come to see this. Why not accept medicine when you're ill? We're all sinners (ill people), we all dead, but through Christ we may find life.
