I'd like to 1, thank everyone for playing the giveaway game & 2, thank the shit out of everyone leaving cool & supportive comments about THE DRILLS' 'No Woman Of Mine'. even the recording has this LIVE vibe to it as that's how it was tracked but with me just playing & not having to sing.

This is the best song I've heard in awhile. Stoked as hell for the new drills record to come out. Each drills cd has had its own unique sound while still maintaining a core vibe. Phil X makes rock great again.

Kick ass jam! Phil and the Boys never fail to impress and entertain me! As much as I love their cover jams, they really should play more original jams.

thx for the support, man.

that guitar dishes out a bad boy attitude in the song. Great tone and full of character
@lewishowlandjr64268 жыл бұрын
that's the best I've seen Phil play. there's just something about seeing an artist perform there own music that feels so much more alive since they're not trying to live up to the exception of someone else's creation. Mr. X awesome playing.

Phil X is getting closer and closer to classic rock with every album.
@MrACangusyoungDC8 жыл бұрын
I was going to put down that comment after I'd read most of the comments. Phil had a little, yeah note "little", you know, collegey punky rocky Avril Lavinge (or whatever her name is spelled) music vibe shit kinda going on before. Which was nice because there was a lot of classic rock still, but I do like his newer compositions more. No woman of mine is the best Drills song. And yeah, if you read this Phil, sorry for writing about you in third person.

+philx1111 I can't believe you responded back to my comment! I've asked questions of people who are probably less busy than you, and less famous and I didn't get a response back from them! Made my day. Thx! I want to be just like you when I grow up! Lol! Oh! Btw, you're too modest of a guitar player. If I was half as talented as you on the guitar I'd be pretty damn happy and proud! Keep up the great work! \m/

"Reelin' In The Years" (sometimes Reeling In The Years) is a song by jazz rock band Steely Dan, released as the second single from their 1972 album, Can't Buy a Thrill. It reached number 11 in the Billboard charts. The song was written by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker and features Fagen on vocals.

Hey Phil, I'm a long time viewer and I like the addition of the pedal giveaway but I never see the videos early enough to have a chance at winning. Maybe you could change the contest so that people have to email their responses within the first 24 hours of the video being published? This would give more people a chance at winning and stop people from just copying the other answers. I'd rather have a 1/2000 chance of winning than a 0/10. :) Anyway, can't wait for the new album! Keep rocking!
