Phil X and The Drills fucking kick ass! I'm not the biggest KISS fan, but that rendition fucking rocked! And it goes without saying that this performance is far better than anything KISS could have done live. Why Phil isn't a household name is beyond me. It certainly isn't for lack of talent, attitude, energy, charisma, or sex appeal. Much Love, Props, and Respect to Phil X and the boys! You guys Righteously Represent Rock-n-Roll!

Eddie will always be more popular because of the tapping techniqu , and he was the first to bring technical brillaince to hard rock . I personally wasn't too big a fan of tapping . I was more impressed by his picking ability . When I heard RR on the other hand , he had technical brilliance , and played with more clarity and less noise . His playing was more musically sound as well .

I agree and I love them both also I was so touched and influence with the classical Baroque type classical influences Randy natural expressed in his compositions it was Sublime and heartfelt that touched me deeply

Ed was trying to figure out wtf Randy was doing. Oh and "Jump" by vh is just Crazy Train with synths!!! Listen to em both again with this in mind... Its glaringly obv that ed stole that melody from Randy!!! How many ozzy songs sound like a vh song...? What a coincidence; the exact same number of vh records that Randy owned!!! Z E R O ! !
@deltawhiskey13984 жыл бұрын
@@Rand_al_Thor372 you must be stoned.... Randy was in awe of Eddie....couldn't figure out how he did the things he did. His girlfriend Jan said the first time he saw Eddie he was devastated because he was always being told how good he was. He told John Stix that the licks of Eddie's that he figured out...he was using in his live playing. Said he hated it because he didn't like copying anybody else but the licks were just too good to pass up. You can be a fan boy all you want but EVH has been the most influential guitar player in modern history. The neo classical stuff the Randy was doing ....meh, never would have changed the guitar world the way Ed did....and not only were Ed's licks WORLDS tastier than Randy's...he was a better rhythm player and singer too. Bow down bitch....EVH is king.
