The Lions are the #1 overall team in DVOA, Lions are #3 in offensive and defensive DVOA. Eagles are #7 overall team in DVOA. Eagles are #13 in offense and. #11th in defense. Lions have beaten 5 above 500 teams, while Eagles have only 2. Goff > Hurts, so far this season. Goff had a 5int game, worst game of season, and still won. Besides that Goff made a Super Bowl before too and he was really good in last season’s playoffs. Lions can win at Philly if need be, Lions proved against the Packers they can win on the road. Eagles are a good team, but Lions are doing historical things on offense and Lions have a great defense too. Lions > Eagles

I don’t know how Goff having been to a Super Bowl is an argument for your lions? Also I have no idea where the defensive numbers for the Eagles came from, they’re number 1 right now. Also, Eagles have had a ton of games where they needed to over come early mistakes, and are one dropped pass from having a tied record. I’ll give you this, I’m not opposed to recognizing that the Lions are the team to beat atm, but I think the Eagles are closer than most people would like to admit.
