Philadelphia Get Tough with Airbnb

This is absolutely ridiculous old hotels have made billions for years and now the small man is making money they want to to complain and change the landscape, philly is canceled

I want to do business in Philadelphia and the hotels are mad that AirBNB is taking their business away. AirBNB is more for the person that wants to feel at home. Hotels are for the people who want to escape home. They want room service, spa, bar and pool. Two different demographics. Hotels don’t really accommodate large groups in one space. The city wants to make it harder but it is the cost/expense of doing business. People are loving these unique AirBNBs and wonderful hosts. There is room for everyone. I just want to eventually co-host, property manage or handle acquisitions of property for out of town Hosts.

Air BnB causes way too many problems. I don’t like strange people coming and going in my neighborhood.

I was considering obtaining a rental in an apartment building and using that as my Airbnb rental (with landlord’s permission) with these new regulations in place is that possible still? And does my rental need to be at cmx-2 at the least?

hey first off the vid was very informative! im new to the air bib game but they doing a great job at making people want to do things not by the books. I mean a 7k license is a bit steep!
