The architect of Madison Square Garden Stanford White was allegedly shot on the rooftop theater by a Philadephia native underneath the statue. Appropriately Diana is the goddess of the quick death. 40:58 life imitates art :)

Nicely photographed. It is unfortunate that this mammoth museum houses so much ugly christian junk propaganda of ancient Europe. And those very huge tapestries are not beautiful, just huge. Thanks for saving me a visit.

I have to agree with you, Christian art is deplorable, such a fantasy, very sick emotions. Most of the Greek stuff is as well.
