Neil Young is very underrated. I have seen him 8 different times, dating back to the early 80's, and every time was a wonderful yet completely different experience. With Shocking Pinks, International Harvesters, Crazy Horse, The Blue Notes, Alone, w/ an Orchestra, etc. etc.

this movie is a masterpiece. its horrible to see a healthy young man whose life went away. but... people are often blind and think: my life is so terrible! the role of andy beckett had an unnecessary terrible experience and he payed for it. a life is wonderful and full of opportunities. dont hate, love!

nepheshangel, I'm a woman. I remember Neil Young as a soloist, and also at the same time with CS&N. Love the fist CSN album when they were so, so young. The songs were nothing we had ever heard before, rock combined with a little folk, and the harmonies, such beauty. I love "Old Man"," Harvest Moon", "Southern Man", I love most of his stuff, but they're my favorites.

THANK YOU for this song. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PHILADELPHIA, the movie. Never fails to make me cry everytime I watch it and that's easily more than 10 times. The ending still gets me in tears, and a lot of it has to do with this song. This was one song which was made for the closing scene in Philadelphia.
