My first Ebike and I love it! I think everyone should have one of these, especially if you are looking for some fun, easy exercise. If you get tired, just use the throttle, no need to pedal but, pedaling is good for you!

Hi 👋, Phil from Phil, I hope you are all keeping safe and well, That was a great review on the HayBike Ranger S , it looks superb , great idea to have one that folds up, and as you said, easy, Peezy, lemon squeezy, I suppose, now that you can call yourself a biker, 😂 , it looks great fun 🤩, I have been looking at them over the past few months, I even noticed that Indian motorcycle company has brought one out, they all look very expensive, I did think about getting something at some point if and when ever I get my money from the UK, be quite good idea obviously help for exercise I could go and do my shopping 🛒 with that with panniers on the side, town is about 6 to 7 miles away each way, only big concern I have very very very steep hills, great territorial as per usual, I look forward to seeing you would turning tomorrow. Well that was fun! I got one in our first lockdown , its a low step through folder just like yours but that's where the similarity ends. Over here 🇬🇧 we're not allowed a throttle and the max power output permitted is 250W , I suspect your motor is 750W. I'm disabled by ME/CFS but the weight of my legs is enough to rotate the pedals which along with using the gears and pedal assist levels still gets me up some quite steep hills. It's great to get out in the air again and feel the sun on my skin . Maybe you'll get a camera on your hat and film us some of your adventures 😂. Just kidding Phil, you have fun, be careful out there! 👍

It is a 750W motor, Jude, I should have mentioned that. The throttle helps but it can also become a crutch. I really do want to pedal, that's where the exercise comes in. It's just nice to have a motor for backup. I'm already looking at action cameras! 😊

@@PhilAndersonShadyAcresWoodshop oh yes, break out the GoPro Phil! Maybe you need to turn down those power levels a bit, you can always increase as you get the hang of it. I know it took me a while to work out that I needed to start it in a low pedal assist but have it in about fifth gear of seven to stop it running away with me. I also have a walk assist button which moves it at four miles an hour which I used to start me off in the beginning. 👍

Very nice, Phil. I’ve been riding bikes forever and just recently been having some hip problems that make it almost impossible to get on and off my bike. (It’s a boy’s bike of course) And I don’t think you should have spilled the beans to your younger viewers that there used to be a difference between boy’s and girl’s bikes. I doubt they knew that, and now I actually need a girl’s bike, without the top bar. (Thanks a lot) If some youngster sees me on a new E-bike and mention that it’s a “girl’s bike”, I’ll know they watch your channel, and my embarrassment is all your fault. The lake is about a block away. The only public spot is where we were and it's about two blocks away. There is a one-way road all the way around the lake and it has a walking path marked out. I thought I might use that to ride around the lake now and then. You are fortunate to have a riding trail so close. We have a great one but I'd have to load the bike up and haul it the five miles or so to ride that one. @@ThePapa1947
