Back in 1996 or 1997, when I was about 8 years old, I took a Christmas Caribbean cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas with my family and grandparents and have always wanted to go again. It's nice to see the ship still sailing and sparkling. Thank you for your coverage of this beautiful ship.

When we moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1970 the Casablanca Cafe was a private home. I always enjoy seeing it when I visit.

We were on this same cruise back in April for the Easter cruise. Only difference was we didn’t go to Labadee. Visited Park cafe a lot for pizza. Especially for late night snacks. We enjoyed this ship and all the ports. Thanks for the video 👍👍

Just subscribed after having watched this video and one on the Koningsdam. We have not cruised before so to get some experience we are taking the Grandeur of the Seas for a 5 night Tampa-GrandCayman-Cozumel-Tampa cruise the day after tomorrow. Our next cruise is Alaska on the Koningsdam in July. We have been advised the people in the Western Caribbean cruise will be a different sort than those on the Alaskan cruise. I get it. Different agendas. We are simply getting some experience before Alaska, hoping we love cruising as much as you seem to. The Mediterranean cruises and Euro river cruises look wonderful. We aren’t crowd people, and the two videos of yours I have watched have shown me that it is possible to enjoy the ship without having to be in a mob. We have balcony suite cabins on both cruises so if the crowd thing gets to be too much we have our own retreat. Thank you for your hard work, I know I will learn a lot. Btw, earlier just this morning I learned Grandeur is the oldest ship in RC’s fleet. Great thing about that, now I know to look, and it’s likely most all of our future ships will be newer!

Thank you so much for this amazing comment. You have us figured out … we are not a fan of crowds, long lines or loud noise. In saying that we still both love to cruise. We always seem to find a space or venue to enjoy. Good choice on getting balconies ( just in case) 🙃 You’re going on one of the oldest cruise ships (Grandeur)to one of the newest (Koningsdam) relatively speaking. I think you’ll love both ships as they each have their own charm. You are right both, destinations are totally different although you will notice a lot of similarities also.
