I honestly hope we see Philemon again in Persona 6.

Yeah it's been ages since he made an appearance in a Persona game. Hope he's brought back because he's a really cool character

Would be really cool to see Philemon make a return, especially since Atlus may be retiring Igor.

The power you hold is called Persona. It is the power to summon the selves within you, the gods and the demons you harbor. The self suffused with divine love... The self capable of demonic cruelty... People live by wearing different masks. Your current self is only one of these innumerable masks. Your Persona is also among your countless selves.

I completely disagree, Altus could easily continue to innovate with Persona but theyd rather just not, you don’t have to look further than the calendar system of Persona 3 which existed in tandem with the games central theme of time, yet still exists in Persona 4 and 5 for some reason, the calendar system is terrible but at least it has a reason to exist in 3, but Persona3 2 and Persona3 3 still have it, and it does nothing but hurt the games.
@Kageryushin3 жыл бұрын
@@myfellowsonicfans7131 The calendar system, and indeed how you use it to gain stats, is something derived from dating sim games like Tokimeki Memorial and LovePlus, which are ultimately games about managing your time effectively so you have no regrets. P3 was able to use these themes in an additional way due to its message regarding the inevitability of death, but P4 and P5 still inherited the theme of living your life to the fullest regardless. Self-realization is built into the very fabric of the series, so it still fits.

@@myfellowsonicfans7131 imo the calendar system is what makes the persona games origial and cool and I'd never want it to go away

I know this sounds silly since i'm replying to 2 years old comment, but Philemon is the master and creator of Igor which we known as a mentor in later games. You could say he's a sage, a philosopher, or anything - but his existence is closer to what we understand as "common consiousness".
@basilofgoodwishes41382 жыл бұрын
The ideal self of all humans,Philemon, who guides them all to a perfect existence with their endless potential of boundless creation. An ally greater than anything humanity ever created, which shows that humanity is truly capable of good deeds and even of perfection perhaps, or just the best version of itself, that too isn't unlikely.
