What is really incredible is that he came from the streets, abandoned at the age of seven he worked odd jobs to feed himself and taught himself to sing by listening to karaoke. No formal lessons, then in 2011 he decided to try out for Philipinas Got Talent in hopes that his parents would see him and they would be reunited, He won and the show found his parents and brought them on the show for his final performance. He gives back to his people through a charity that help children and elderly in need. He gives out gifts every Christmas to the children in the place he grew up and helps with different needs in his community, including building homes for elderly people who need a place to live. He is a humble servant of his Savior Jesus Christ.

Marcelito is well known for doing solo 'duets'. He speaks little English and no Italian but is able to listen to songs and just learn. He was abandoned on the streets of Philippines when he was 7 and learnt to fend for himself, he listened to music and learnt to replica what he heard. He is amazing. He just brought out a new video "all I ask of you" in which he sings both parts but near the end both his voices are blended and it's beautiful. Lovely reaction to a lovely and well deserved singer, all self taught.
