Davey, Dee and Nigel are singing up a storm on the backing vocals! Are you hearing their interwoven harmonies backing Elton's amazing lead vocals on this one? The Elton John Band really doesn't get enough acknowledgement for their vocals; they're absolutely beautiful!

"A boogie woogie flair"-wow!!! Dee Murray plays some of the most interesting notes on bass you will ever hear. And I do hope you draw some attention to Nigel Olsson's drumming which has this beautiful, layed back behind the beat timing to it. Throw in Elton's piano and the whole thing just shimmers with beauty.

Davey Johnstone's debut in the Elton John Band was this album in 1972 when he first joined the band. Elton subsequently made Davey the bands official musical director, a position he holds with the band to this day. Davey's slide guitar lead is for me the highlight of this song.

I think he changed his middle name to Hercules in affection for this song. I am open to correction if that's not correct.
