I love that it is Linda Ronstadt providing the ethereal voice that is the most appreciated musical element in "Labyrinth" (21:41) and the following track "Return to the Hive"

I saw the touring production in 1988 or 1989, whenever it was, at McFarlin Auditorium, SMU campus, in Dallas, TX. My mom only had it on cassette. Met him in 1995 or 1996 and got the cassette signed.

I saw it here in Copenhagen - what an impressive stage show that was! 🤩 Unfortunately, my record collection was stolen a few years later😥, and with it this record😞. It's not on any streaming services, and it is nowhere to be found here in Denmark. Where did you order the vinyl from?

In “Labyrinth” which begins @21:41 if it isn’t abundantly clear for y’all to discern, what the Visitor is articulating to M. are these words, “It is better to forget. It is pointless to remember. No one will believe you. You will have spoken a heresy. You will be outcast.” Y’all’re welcome. Safe journeys, everybody. And Linda Ronstadt, we all really miss your presence. You’re just incomparably magnificent in this. Vaya con Dios.

I got to see this live in Dallas around 1988/1989. Saw him again around 1995/1996, doing a Q&A after a viewing of Koyaanisqatsi. Got to meet him and get a cassette of 1000 Airplanes autographed. Would have been perfect, if he hadn’t poked fun of how fat I was at the time. I was in high school.

Listening right now for the first time in 20ish years. Since then I've learned how to play music, specifically on piano and synthesizers. Beautiful piece that hits so much different now that I can think about what the musicians are doing. Why is this one so hard to find?

I saw this live stage concert/production years ago. The sets were extremely minimal and dark…being made up of a few objects and the rest was laser show scenery that the actor interacted with through the use of the objects. The laser show kept transforming the locations. It was so cool and the music was awesome. Wish there was footage somewhere to watch. I still have the album on cassette tape 😊.
