Philip Quast describes himself as an actor. He just happens to have an amazing singing voice. He has appeared in top stage productions of Chekov and Shakespeare plays, having worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company no less. He has a long list of credits on stage, screen and TV which did not involve singing at all.

Of course he's an actor, he hasn't been singing in the charts he appears in musicals - why would anyone think he isn't an actor?

Agreed. I feel the same way. He becomes the character he breaths it's air he knows everything and it's mother about it it's breath taking.
