I found this film years ago during a very strange time in my life. It has become one of my favorite films of all time.

Same same. It was in 2004 for me. I was a teenager then

Same. I had turned nocturnal due to what I call my "undiagnoised depression" phase. I found Trust in 1994 while watching the nightly late night movie. I LOVED IT and I knew it would play again on a different channel a day later. I recorded off the TV pausing for the commericals. I finally got it on DVD years later and just watched it on KZbin a couple of days ago.

Same. I saw it on the IFC channel when I was about 13 in 2003. I will never forget it. It moved me in a way I never had felt before.

I always loved this movie and this beautiful piece of music. Amazing to find it after all these years. Thank you for posting. Adrienne is (was) so beautiful and easy to fall in love with. Absolutely adorable. Such a tragic loss. Hal Hartley is so talented. Just watched Trust again. I feel a yearning for it about every decade. Just brilliantly written and produced. "TV is the opiate of the masses".

I love this piece of music so much I tape recorded it from the TV so I could listen to it on my Walkman.

When will this be back on the television? This was one of the best independent movies of all time. Adrienne Shelly and Martin Donovan were perfect. I loved the pregnant pauses and what truly good independent film doesn't exploit them?

Mas a música original, algo menos polida, era perfeita praquele final que é um final feliz, apesar da separação, pros dois adoráveis desajustados apaixonados.
