Philip has surpassed most of his idols. His playing is visceral and cuts through right to my soul! More power to you brother!

It s not difficult to achieve it man. Recipe is strat, fender style amp that you can crank the volume and a fuzz face style pedal. You ride your volume control and there you have it. For solo part you boost with a ts808 or 9.

Saw him live in Hamilton Ontario last summer, at a little joint called The Casbah. My Dad came with us even though he doesn't like live music (unless I'm playing it). On the way home Dad says, "well, he's better than John Mayer" lolololol Mom and I, "why yes, yes he is" and we both love Mayer! He just blows most guitarists out of the water. I took my grandfather's 1930s Regal Resonator with us in the hopes that Philip would sign it and I'd have a chance to meet the man. Sure enough, his eyes were all over that old guitar like it was a beautiful womanlololol He signed the disk for me and told me to keep playing. Just a super nice guy.

I’ve met a few great guitarists in their own right…And when I mention Philip, a couple have said “he makes me want to quit guitar”
