I'm still surprised how much I like the tone of the PRS- it's just a bit warmer then his Strats- and that's a good thing! Still very clear and terrific single coil sound- but not as bright... although it's true at 2:40 or so it really does drop out of tune...

I have this same guitar an its one of the early release Silver SKys that have slightly hotter pickups then the newer SS guitars so im not surprised that phill got two of them from the 2019 line rather then the recent ones. To your point tho this is the first strat that made me put down my 64 hardtail because of how close it is to a real pre cbs strat. The have excellent well rounded mid range and sound great clean

naaaah, too much circus for me, boring fast runs that do nothing for the music really...somewhat uninspired
