For the best thing to become more widespread you need to have Haskell IDEs that can do substitution rules (like macroexpand-1 in Lisp) so that you can actually learn from code and quickly see whats going on, and it should help you do the substition rules in reverse to help compress your code. (Sort of like a good linter).
