I’ve been a gang member, I have been in prisons, I’ve been harden by life. I’ve pounded my fist against the pavement and always considered this music to be….. boring. I now realize how wrong I was. This music is inspiring, it’s artistic and moving. Sir don’t ever stop making this kind of music, it is a gift from God that moves.. I just wish I could’ve listened to this music many years ago, I know I would of been inspired to do better things in life!

I highly doubt you'll see this, but I'm new at piano, only been learning for 3 months, at 15. I feel like I missed the peak of piano since most start when they're super young, but I'm destined to learn this piece. _It is going to be the first big piece I learn._ Thank you. This song speaks to me so much.

You guys are funny! Even though I’ve played a Hammond organ for 20 years, I’m just starting to play the piano. I’m 63 and as I’ve discovered, the piano is a completely different animal. No matter how slowly or quickly you press a key on an organ, you get the same note. With a piano, it is all about how a key is played. Having the necessary control over my left hand has proven to be extremely difficult for me. I wish you both decades of enjoyment as you refine your skill. Think about how much more beautiful this world would be if people practiced playing an instrument for just half the hours they spend playing video games! 🙂

I've learned a couple of your pieces by ear and, while they're pretty hard for beginner or intermediate level, they are not impossible and able to be played with enough effort, and higher level players like myself still get a challenge from some of the licks you put in. Also, it's incredibly relaxing; I even find myself emotional at the end of some of them (Darkness falls and DNOTS especially). If this is the future of piano I look forward to it!

Seriously, my second favorite song by him with the first being Darkness Falls. Darkness Falls is the first song I heard in this genre that made me realize this was a genre to pay attention to and I even enrolled in piano classes at the local college just to learn that song. So far, that is the song that I haven't seen him play and that's a bummer, but his music is amazing either way.

I’ve been practicing this song for the last 3-4 days now. I don’t know how to read the music sheets so all I can do is practice by ear and I’m not the the best at piano. Every time I feel like I got a part on here I’m always missing or finding out something new. I’ll post a video of the song when I master it probably in 3-4 months
