Joe makes the same point here that I've been trying to make for ages: fans respond better at general admission shows than at seated ones. Makes me wonder why they choose to put seats on the floor at every show they do, even if it isn't necessary, unless you think the extra money that comes from reserved seating is necessary.

Met def 2 weeks later. Joe smelled sweaty(this was before they went on stage), but he + the whole band signed my jeans and gave me a shitload of merchandice which I still own, including Hysteria LP signed by all the guys. Joe poured me a pepsi. Was great to meet Steve Clark! When I went backstage in 93 that prick Viv shithead Craphead acted like the spoiled prick he is, but the other guys were just as nice as in 88. He never was and never will be a true lepp. Hit and run is Def`s best song.

I think performing in the round would give me bad stage fright being surrounded like that. Did Joe really stay sober? I have a hard time believing that he said he quit drinking. However, in many photos, when they were onstage, Joe seemed to literally be propping Steve up so he wouldn’t fall. Ironic that he took over and fired Pete Willis from the band that he started, for being a drunk, but he favored Steve so much that he could do no wrong. Joe was a lush too. Anyone remember Me And My Wine? Wasted? And one of my favorites, Saturday Night High And Dry?

When I first seen def lepp in the 80s my cat 🐈 mittens gave birth to her first litter.so I kept to males out of the litter,one savage and one elliott.they were born one day before first show savage 🐱 lived up to his name unfortunately he was hit by a few 1years old.elliot lived uptill19years old and so did mama,they will always be forever in my ❤️
