just trying to be helpful. I entered the prompt like this: "her is a CSV formated text example: [Letter A Jobs,Letter B Jobs,Letter C Jobs Accountant,Baker,Chef,]. using this example create a list of 20 professions for each letter in the alphabet. Meaning 20 professions per letter formatted like the above CSV format example." and the result allows you to just copy and paste into Excel. Thanks! James

Philip- for Excel users- to remove numbers and the period, 1. highlight the column, 2. go to Data (at the top) 3. click "text to columns" 4. select "fixed width 5. hit "next " then theres these little black rectangles, hold the LeFTMOUSE down as you DRAG the line to where you want to cut off the numbers and the period. its what i use... Hope this helps.

For me, "save for web" wasn't exporting transparent file. I later figured that I've to uncheck "simulate colored paper" from "document setup" before batch export.

Thank you! I was trying to get "export for screens" to work but apparently that is messed up for Actions, and I couldn't understand why "save for web" wasn't working. Turning off "simulate colored paper" fixed it.

the best way to do that is using MyDesigns ;) You can create listings, mockups and publish up to 120 designs in bulk. I have a few tutorials on the channel

Can you change the text effects for each niche in bulk as both text above the image and below image are different, ie the bottom is just plain bold text and the top has an effect on it.

You can tell chatgpt to organize the professions generated in a table, it will save you some time!

I tried that a lot as well but it seems to always leave out lots of professions that way. It will only say copy 15 A's 10 B's 8C's etc instead of the full 20 (When creating the table) Does that not happen to you?

It actually did! But i came around with another prompt to overcome that! The prompt i used is: Write a list of 20 professions for each letter in the alphabet, it's important to write 20 professions for each letter, make them organized in a one column table. Thanks for the content by the way! 👍

To remove numbering in the list I would simply copy everything into Word instead of Excel and then hit the button which is responsible for numbering in Word while the whole list is selected and then copy back to Excel without any numbers at all. BTW, I've noticed that the word "Retired" looks grundge while the names of professions don't. Maybe it would be better to have them look grudge too? How to do it in bulk?

I followed all the steps and now constantly get the following error: Error 8753: invalid text range Line: 67 -> textBox.textRange.characterAttributes.size -= inc; Is it the sizing script? Or my design? I tried different designs but it's always the same error. I'm on Illustrator 2023

I have exactly the same error. I have even found another script on line which seems to be the same as the one Phil included. Tearing my hair out! ive tried different fonts on different designs and followed the instructions to the letter, same error every time. Tried starting from scratch and tried to replicate exactly Phils design but still the same error. Can anybody advise?

Ok i have solved it. Started from the beginning with just 1 line of plain text. It worked so i then gradually added more text in separate boxes, changed the fonts and checked at every stage and changes i made, no idea what the issue was but i eventually got there!

@@PhilipAnders I use it to create all different social media assets for music labels from one document. In that case it has different sized artboards that are filled with linked image files and text from a csv file, so when the cover design for a track is approved, I export with one click via "Export As". The goal is to not have 24 different files to update and export, sometimes forgetting to change an artist name or skipping a mix. The combination of artboards, linked files and a csv made that easy. But I guess you want to export multiple versions of the same image with different variables, like you do in Illustrator in this video. It does not only have to be text, actually. You could have layers with, say, a male, female and non-binairy image which visibility can be directed with "true" and "false" statements in a column in the csv file. You create a base photoshop file with the image and text. You define the text layer(s) you want to be a variable, to a column in your data set, import the data set, and after that you go to File > Export > Data Sets As Files choose destination folder. Any amount of transparent png's you need will be generated and put in there.
