Banana! Great video! This might be a lot to ask, but could you do a recap of all the niches you cover at the end so we can take a quick screen grab. I usually like to watch the videos thru without writing so I can focus on what you're saying as I get easily distracted and so it would be helpful to just have the screen grab at the end. Anyway, just a suggestion for future videos. Thanks again for your great content as always!

One of the things I struggle with the most is the Etsy listings and the imagery that should be used. Most people are using mockups whether it be flat lay or models and man is that a lot of work. I see other shops doing well with just a shirt and white background. Any insights on what the best approach for etsy? Amazon makes it easy.

Philip, thanks for mentioning the trademark tool you use and the link. I think that would make a very good video (perhaps a short one), as I don't recall seeing any other channel demonstrate it and focus on it alone. Title such as "Free POD Trademark Tools You NEED to use" might help get more views to your channel. However, I do think it needs to be shown with some examples (demonstrations) including showing how some obvious trademark words would appear, (as a caution). My friendly suggestion for your channel is to make it more personal too, by that I mean: "here is how I use this tool every day, when designing...." By that I mean some POD focused channels appear to be pitching links and tools without really showing that they use those things and how to most effectively use it, based on experience with it, and so it appears that they pitch without revealing how to use it or that they do indeed use it and what they noticed or learned from it. I just watched a very good video by another channel, not on this topic, and what I noticed was how the channel owner (an Etsy seller, big sales), makes a point of giving tips based on her own use, making her videos very valuable for tips, more than just links and promotional statements that come off a website for the product/tool/sw. Also, there may be several free online trademark sites (USPTO) and issues (for European vs USA trademarks) that could provide additional content, if you want to be comprehensive on the topic. These are all just friendly suggestions for you, as I like how you present things and value your experience with POD. :)
@PhilipAnders2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot once again for the extensive feedback Steadman! I am actually working on a trademark check video where I am going to show multiple free tools and different examples of how I use them. The whole trademark can be quite confusing so I hope that will help clear some things up :) In this video I tried to keep the tips as short as possible as there was so many Niches to get through and that's the main focus of the video. I also plan to make a video about the upload automation tool going over how I use it and how and why etc
@vythedir44382 жыл бұрын
@@PhilipAnders Maybe it would also be an idea to clearly state in that trademark video the difference between trademarks and copyright and how to research either of them. I see in various facebook groups that a lot of people have a problem with understanding the difference. They believe that just doing your trademark check is enough, then get rejected for obvious copyright infringements.

Banana. Thanks! Question: How do you organize your designs? What is in which store, what's selling, storage of old designs and mockups and assets? I'm a very scattered person so I have things everywhere. I wish there was a site that allowed links, photos, files, and descriptions all together but I haven't found it yet. Does ur print or demand earn you at least 2500 usd /month? If not … do you feel that is realistic?
@PhilipAnders2 жыл бұрын
It's realistic for sure, but it definitely takes time to build up to that point. In my first year for example I didn't make much more than a few thousand usd for the entire year (with Print on demand). Also the income can be inconsistent throughout the year every month being different. What's nice is that during Christmas time your income can double/triple
