It would be a game changer if the website was working. I haven't been able to publish anything in almost a week in mid Q4 and right before Black Friday. Not to be a hater but how hard is it to fix something that was working perfectly fine for over a year?

​@klimentinaarch1989 publishing has been working for a week. It's still not as optimized as we'd like, but we're actively working on it. We replaced the underlying infrastructure for designs / print files, it was major.

@@CurtisBlackmore I appreciate your response, but it really hasn't been and it still isn't working. I've been trying every day since Saturday and still can't publish my listings. The page becomes unresponsive as soon as I select a production partner. It crushes and it takes me back to my listings page. I have only been able to publish 1 listing at a time with only 1 product selected, which kinda defeats the main purpose of using this software, as it was made for publishing listings in bulk and offering the design on multiple products. Support keeps apologizing and is saying that the team is aware and working on fixing the problem and hopefully it'll be fixed in 24 hours.That's the response I've been getting every day.

This video is fantastic. Thank you. I tried using Phraser AI for digital PNG’s and it didn’t work so well. Hopefully they will make some categories for digital soon as that would be a massive time saver.

Yes agreed the digital products function of phraser ai isn't up to scratch yet. I believe that's another feature they will overhaul soon :)

Hi Phillip every time I generate a prompt on Dall-E I keep getting the t-shirts on it even when I put place on a white background. Is there a work around to this? please let me know. Love your videos by the way so informative!!!

Hi Philip - other than transferring the listings from MYDESIGNS to MY etsy store, do i need to do anything else, e.g., set up a print partner ? I note that within MYDESIGNS the print partner is listed as SWIFTPOD

That feature is still in the works. Curtis (founder) mentioned it in our recent interview (uploaded yesterday). It's definitely coming soon but not there yet

@@PhilipAnders I am halfway through the video from yesterday. Also, I found your tip on using Illustrator for removing backgrounds. Since I have that program, I will no longer have to use ClipDrop for $13 a month to accomplish that.

I have a question on this very excellent video. What happens if there is still some transparent background showing on the ornament after the image has been inserted? Just a small portion on the bottom is showing. Should the images have had their backgrounds removed first? Also, what if all the text is not the same on every ornament? I had redone the first one after I had synched them all, then tried to re-synch again and some took and some didn't. I ended up having to take each one back to the canvas to fiddle with it. Well, I'm a fiddler anyway, so I prolly would have done anyway.

you can click on the transparent section and then the eye symbol on the right to add a background color. This can also be synced across. I also sometimes adjust and fiddle with a few of the designs rather than using the same alignment for all ;)

Once I upload my upload my images and publish them to Etsy, can I then delete them from MyDesigns? I use Gigapixel AI for upscaling and don't want to use up my credits. Also, with these ornament designs, do you ever convert them to SVG or just use the PNG format? Thanks for sharing these tutorials.

Yes you can just have the design and back printing is also available, it's enabled during publishing😉

The price is no different to printify premium. And on there you have to list one by one, no bulk features, terrible mockups. Personalisation is harder with printify. They each have their pro's and con's but mydesigns definitely seems more innovative

I sell digital artwork for people that sublimate their own ornaments to sell, I ve been making my design on midjourney and then using inkscape to do the circle shape before uploading to MD to do the mock ups, Its my 1st day on MD is there a clip to circle sort of thing on MD??

MD is too expensive.... not only the membership but also the item prices are higher via MD. If you want to sell good quality you still have to edit and customize every design manually.
