The thing that pissed me off about her apology is when she said that thing about "fight or flight." Like dude, you're not in a dangerous situation, you're not really even in an uncomfortable situation. The only thing that's going on there is you yelling at this guy because he's having trouble figuring out the route that the GPS is telling him to go. Literally it. There is no reason WHATSOEVER that you should be kicking in to fight or flight mode because this guy is asking you what direction to go. It just feels like she was trying everything she could to blame her actions on anything but herself.

In my experience being drunk makes people super honest, and Jody Warner showed that she was a nasty piece of work. Hey Philip! I just wanted to point out I live in Corning California in Tehama county. Rancho is fairly close. My mother worked with The mass murder's wife. Her name was Barbara, she was always having problems with he husband and they fought alot.She wa s a dough roller at Round Table Pizza. Though she had a bad home life, she was the nicest person at work and always tried to make people happy. Monday she had requested to leave early from work because of family issues. That was the last time we ever heard from her until she was found underneath the floor boards in her house murdered by the jackass. As a teacher in TX, I was encouraged to hear that the lock down procedure worked at Rancho Tehama. We recently practiced a lock down and many of the middle school students didn't take the drill seriously. The drill was after the shooting in Southerland Springs. We sadly took the time reinforce the unfortunate practicality of this drill.

Not quite. If someone did kidnap you, and drove you to some remote place you didn't want to be, and then told you to get out of the car, that WOULD be the a very similar situation as this. It's still clearly not kidnapping, but I could image a skilled laywer being able to argue that it is.

Not exactly. The American government isnt a monarchy. No matter why you buy your land, once you own it, it's yours. No matter why you bought it. And in order for the gov to do anything on your property they have to get your consent and if you don't consent they can't do it. That's why there's never been a wall. Too many people own land on the border and won't sell. That's why Congress won't even actually think about it. Just to compensate for the people who will loose land or get a wall built through their property they'll exceed the budget. And Mexico won't pay for it.

I find it hard to believe that Zoella, or no one in her team, didn't know what the final price of the advent calender would be or they didn't have a recommended retail price (RRP or MSRP). I would of thought that there would of been contracts in place to protect her brand so not to cheapen it or over value it. Therefore there would of been negotiations between parties on how much her products should be sold for, how they should be marketed and so on. Hence I don't believe it when Zoella says she (her team) had no input on pricing. Another thing, I don't watch her videos but looking at her last video referred to by DeFranco, at the time of writing, it has 1,063,287 views but only 310 comments (?) It seems the comments in this videos and her others are heavily moderated. I think this shows just how obsessed these kind of youtubers are with protecting their brand & squeaky clean image that they have to control the direction of their commenters. I wonder if such youtubers use bots or do they employ a team of full time comment filterers to remove any slightly unfavourable comments?

I'm starting by saying I like Zoella , so probably my answer is influenced by this. I believe her when she said she doesn't have anything to do with the price (I don't think she said the team, just her) because she's a youtuber. She doesn't have a marketing degree she is not a market/statistical analyst. So for me it sounds right that she does not have anything to do with the price. She probably has a marketing team or the store has a marketing team. Her cosmetics are on the market for 2-3 years and everything was fine till now. So I don't think she had any reason to suspect her marketing tem (or whoever is deciding the price) will not make the right decision.
