+LorenzoVonMatterhorn She easily could have spun her intoxication around and have claimed the driver was trying to use it as an excuse sexually harass/insult her. Not saying she would do that, but drunkeness wouln’t help convince people that she wasn’t the victim.
@PraetorianHiJynx
@PraetorianHiJynx 6 жыл бұрын
LorenzoVonMatterhorn I have to agree with Kailee here, I don't think her intoxication would've been enough to make her an unreliable victim. And as Kailee noted, she could've claimed that he tried to take advantage of her simply because she was drunk.
@JoybuzzerX
@JoybuzzerX 6 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't matter. That's not how it works right now. People believe whoever claims to be the victim now. Especially if they're a woman and even more so if they're also some one in a position of power as the DA was. Which is funny. There she was, abusing a man, and she was in a position of power, and yet they don't think to prosecute her and give her some jail time.

The thing that pissed me off about her apology is when she said that thing about "fight or flight." Like dude, you're not in a dangerous situation, you're not really even in an uncomfortable situation. The only thing that's going on there is you yelling at this guy because he's having trouble figuring out the route that the GPS is telling him to go. Literally it. There is no reason WHATSOEVER that you should be kicking in to fight or flight mode because this guy is asking you what direction to go. It just feels like she was trying everything she could to blame her actions on anything but herself.
@_Piers_
@_Piers_ 6 жыл бұрын
No, she caused the problem in the first place, by asking the driver not to go the GPS route and instead to go a different way. Which she was presumably to drunk to give him coherent directions for.
@Stephen-xh3gu

The only possible justification I can see for this being fight or flight is if you're in a dangerous area and you don't want to get out of the car. But the abuse started before she was being asked to get out so that doesn't really make any sense.

Notice how she apologized to the DA’s Office and her friends and family, but not directly apologizing to the Uber driver, but beating around the bush on that part. She never once actually apologized to the Uber driver... All she said was no one should be treated/talked to that way, but that’s not an actual apology. Honestly it’s ridiculous and quite saddening. Crocodile Tears. I think this is an example of someone with an inflated ego who didn't get their way, got caught, and is only 'crying' because she realizes how much getting caught cost her. Had she not been caught, she would have woken from this bender and not gave her treatment of the driver a second thought. The nasty human deep down inside was always there, alcohol just brought it to the surface. Perhaps a little harsh, but I've known many like her and they never change :)

It might be kidnapping? It might be kidnapping... He is telling you to GET OUT of the car. That is literally the opposite of "kidnapping.".. If the uber driver was kidnapping you, he would KEEP YOU IN THE CAR AT ALL COSTS, not ask you repeatedly to get out. I know she is drunk, but it takes a special kind of stupid to think you are being kidnapped when someone is trying to throw you out of their car.

Not quite. If someone did kidnap you, and drove you to some remote place you didn't want to be, and then told you to get out of the car, that WOULD be the a very similar situation as this. It's still clearly not kidnapping, but I could image a skilled laywer being able to argue that it is.

I’m an advocate for the dignity and uniqueness of all humans. When I look back on the way I used to be, I’m proud of what I’ve become. Hey Philip! I just wanted to point out I live in Corning California in Tehama county. Rancho is fairly close. My mother worked with The mass murder's wife. Her name was Barbara, she was always having problems with he husband and they fought alot.She wa s a dough roller at Round Table Pizza. Though she had a bad home life, she was the nicest person at work and always tried to make people happy. Monday she had requested to leave early from work because of family issues. That was the last time we ever heard from her until she was found underneath the floor boards in her house murdered by the jackass. We miss her very dearly and my mother is really broken up about this situation. I never thought that you'd be talking about this. I'm shocked that this can happen in my county. RIP Barbara

In regards to the Zoella story. There are times when I truly despise people looking at old social media posts to try and make a point about a current issue, and this is one of them. Someone went to the trouble of either A) Going through years of Zoella's tweets in the hopes of finding some dirt (failing to understand that it's a little odd it's taking as long as it is to find something), or B) Meticulously archiving certain posts for years on the off chance she ever slips up, and hope that they be relevant in some way. Sometimes I struggle to understand what these people are trying to achieve by doing one of those two things. I assume they are in pursuit of a vague sense of justice, but all I see is Cleverpants McGee, desperate to make something resembling a point, and wanting brownie points for his or her Earth-shattering fucking detective work. It's weird how people consistently fail to hold others to a higher standard of behavior on a constant basis. They only do so when the opportunity presents itself. Can you not see how you are undermining your own opinion there? You're suggesting that it matters, and that it doesn't simultaneously. What is this, Schrodinger's Asshole, it exists in two states at once? I think people "expose" others largely to feel more virtuous than other people, which is absurd, because no one is perfect. All you've accomplished is uncovering evidence of Zoella being human. Congratulations? What was it about this situation that made it feel necessary to bring a moment in time far in Zoella's past to display? In some cases, like posting the clip of Donald Trump saying, "They don't look like Indians to me, sir," in a discussion about whether or not he's actually racist, absolutely I can see that being relevant. In that case, Trump himself should understand why that could hurt his credibility. But attacking Zoella over an Advent Calendar? Really? This is the cause you've devoted yourself to? "Exposing" Zoella in this case feels a bit like people suggesting that people are incapable of change, which is stupid in the extreme. That would be like me saying, "Hey DeFranco, yeah you, cock weasel, remember when you used to post LOVELY LADY OF THE DAY? Well I do, and I'm here to tell you that you used to shit your pants when you were a baby! HAHA, GOT HIM! EXPOSED! VAFFANCULO!" The benefits of these people never speaking again are immense. When their opinions aren't being inflicted on the world, the sanity of everyone around them would improve, and it would probably keep Greenland from melting. Just my musings on the matter.

I don't think he would tell Trey the gruesome parts, but I can imagine Phil telling Trey about how the teachers thought quickly and managed to keep students safe. And, of course, he'd go "That's amazing!"

The card thing, Would this 20 billion wall now cost more due to legal fee's if its dragged out... And trump can just build around their plot or something..
@Morryo

Dauntless, you can't really build around the plot. That would make the plot Mexico's land and against the law.

Morryo Naa, the land will be in America just with an open border to Mexico and a wall around the plot.

Yep, she's been a bad person her entire life, the proof of this is a thirty second video where she rants while intoxicated. Everything she has done in her life means nothing because she was mean to a Uber driver.

I have a good Uber story for you Phil. Their was an Uber driver who did not charge a father when he was racing to pick up his daughter from the shooting on the Las Vegas Strip. The Uber also allowed as many people to fit into the back of his car as possible before leaving. Personally I think that that satisfies your good Uber story request.

I once had an uber driver who spoke of nothing but how great communism is and how it should be brought to America. This guy was Cuban and he was uber passionate about communism ( pun very much intended.) Take note that I first met this guy a week before the US 2016 presidential election and he was all for Bernie and socialism just as much as he was very much against Trump, and this guy just would not shut up about any of that. Two days after the election I needed a ride home so i ended up getting that same guy. To say the least, he wasn't happy and didn't say a word the whole (20 min) ride. Awkward? Yes. Scary? Yes. Hotel? Trivago.

Luis Nieto I watched a video of these trump supporters asking questions to Bernie sanders supporters while they where going to vote for him I think and for the most part they were not friendly at all, they would spit at them, give them rubish like bits of fucked up food and drop it in their bucket for donations, then they would try to act smart talking about the quran to this woman that has read it all and when the woman would come up with real facts they would be like, okay.... cool.... Well.... keep at it..... there was even a transgenders native American there that would make huge pauses because he didn't know the answer to his own questions and then gets mad because of that.
